yep its goin down in lodi, we’re hoping to make it a standard thing maybe once a month or so. we will have to see how it all works out

I’m pretty new to the scene and I haven’t really played with professional players, just a lot of newbie matches with a couple of my friends. I don’t even have a stick yet, but I’m planning on getting one as soon as possible. Hopefully I can pick up some tips and strategies from players with a bit more experience. :bgrin:
yeah come and play. thats how u get better. and dont worry about not playing on stick, there are a lot of good pad players out there.
yea… honestly theres only a couple characters i absolutely can’t play on pad, and theres a good chance ill be playing my makoto on pad since that is how i play her on third strike. With street fighter 4’s engine a lot of characters are pad friendly if you ask me, whereas in say, super turbo, its bitchin to play on pad=/

Though pre-registering is not required, there are minor incentives.

You can also enroll at the door during event day as long as you make it before the cut off time of 1:00PM
Man, I’ll be back from school by then, but it’s Lodi… my dad goes there to take pictures of birds, lol. I’ll consider it.
That sounds about right for now but with hard work and dedication we hope to change that to “That’s where people go to take pictures of the crowds playing Street Fighter”.

Schmidtnurface updated the main post but I figure I’d bump it to address the issue at hand. Due to the generated interest in the tournament we’d like to know if you, the players would prefer XBOX 360 or Playstation 3 set ups. Please let us know and we’ll cater to your demand.
XBox 360 would be preferred. Most the people around here and in most cases that ive seen everywhere use 360 over PS3.
As a self-appointed Stockton representative, I’d like to say that the majority of the Stockton players own an Xbox 360 stick. Thus, it would be convenient for the most of us (well everyone except for Blackheart) if the tournament ran on 360.
haha blackheart… if only he played on xbox 360 pad’s it’d be fun to MM his sagat with my pad guile lol
