Oh yeah, Unity got cancelled. Said that by the time it’d come out, there’d be no market for 3rd party Gamecube games. Looking into moving it to another platform, but they aren’t certain if they can transfer the code.

One Piece is a Power Stone clone…almost exactly like it. Haven’t quite grasp the mechanics of the game yet…appears to be several unlockable characters. Only one I’ve opened so far is a girl w/cowboy hat. Her super slaps you around with a bunch of hands. ???
Cool. That girl is Nico Robin. She’s the 7th member of The Straw Hat Pirates (Luffy’s crew.) Can’t wait to try it.
seen it saturday. wesley snipes kicked a whole lotta ass, as is usual in his action movies. had a lot of funny aspects to it IMO, specially one blatently last minute throw-in tidbit about the major villain…

Got into One Piece Grand Battle 3 a little bit more today, definately Power Stone all the way, however an aquired taste.
I’ve finally learned to do a few supers…theatrical to say the least, fun to watch and very damaging. Each player has at least two that I’ve seen so far.
There are people standing around on various boards watching the action, but don’t hit one of them while you are fighting…he will charge up, target one of you, and attack you with some kind of super move. Weird.
To my dismay, you can fall off the board on just about every stage. There is a waterfall on one stage. Other stages sometimes the ground will open up and swallow you if you are not paying attention. One stage has a giant snake that will knock down buildings, if a piece of one hits you, it will dizzy you leaving you open to attack. Also, a sudden gust of wind will blow, causing you to fall off a stage or blow you into your opponents reach. Yikes.
I noticed a garbage can on one stage…I paid it no attention. The computer guy threw it at me. An “Oscar” like creature (as in Oscar of Sesame Street) came out of the can, swallowed me, and fired me out his mouth like a cannon. WTF:wtf:
Regular moves are kinda cool…reminds me of Pocket Fighter. They are string combos that are entertaining to watch unfold. For example, Nami hits you with her stick, spins it into a 10 hit combo, slams you hard on the ground, bounces you in the air…then a cloud appears above your head and lightning strikes you to end the combo. (20 hit in all if I remember right).
Actually, I’m enjoying this game right now, but the average FNG’er is going to hate it.:cybot:

But falling off the board == ouch! Does it bring you back (with a penalty of some sort?) or are you out of the game entirely if that happens?
