I’d say it’s fairly straightforward. Person 1 says the game is “blah,” then confirmed dumbass 1 says it’s good.

I don’t even know what the fuck you’re getting at. it doesn’t fucking matter how easy it is to program X type of game. Making a game fun is what matters, and I’ve seen more boring, or hard to play, or just plain lame as fuck 3d games then I have 2d games. Whether or not that’s a function of how easy it is to program, game design, or whatever, it’s true.
Of course, I’m preferential for 2d games in general, due to the fact that, as you’ve stated, that they live and breathe on their gameplay aspects.
You know, people complain about the sword in halo 2…but the real pain in the ass is the scorpion. I’m wondering what, exactly, the incentive was to not only make it impossible to snipe out the driver, but to make it’s cannon reload faster. If the driver has someone on foot covering them from people trying to sneak up to board it, it’s such a pain in the ass to kill.

You said it was easier to make a good 2d game than it was a 3d game, listing what is a side effect of bad planning, (of which planning being the biggest part of a legitimate 2d venture) as a reason why 3d games are more difficult to pull off. I am saying that your complaints about 3d are side effects of shoddy preparation and mediocre input. If they who make the games cannot beat “Make a Fun Game” on easy, they’re not going to beat it on hard and come out with a 2d aspect, because that requires a lot more planning ahead and less guess-and-check mechanics later. Thus 2d is vastly harder to make than 3d.
You are arguing as someone who plays games and likes one particular genre. I am stating facts of universal development in regard to your initial comments as one who’s had to deal with them.

uhhh…people like to beat up on T.O. lately, but that incident is way overblown. It’s his own fault, though…hes not an easy person to like. The guy has skills, but I haven’t liked him since he started his “endzone antics” and his recent book he wrote entitled, “I’m the shit!” was released.
Personally, I don’t have anything new to offer at FNG…N3 is shipped, but not here yet. Capcom evolution is unavailable on my PS2 at the moment (Dec. 2nd release). Which brings up an interesting point…the fact that the american version on CFJ was released prior to the japanese version should prove once and for all that japanese games can not only be released here in the US simultaneously, but even released prior to US releases…if they wanted to. All this nonsense over the years about 2 to 6 months delay to releasing a game overseas is a bunch of B.S.

Got Naruto 3 in today, already. The game is a lot better than 2. Every friggin’ character is in it, for real. OMG I have so many things to unlock. So far my favorite sighting has been seeing Naruto do his Rasengen, they made it look so sweet. No more character clones either. If you want to play Kyubi Naruto, you have to turn him into it. Same with Kakashi, Gaara, anyone like that.
And yeah, Kim, cancel your Capcom Fighting Faggot order. Seriously, save your money. Waste of time.
Anyhow, I’m going to unlock characters. If you want us over tonight Kim, I’ll bring the goods.
If we come by Robo, I’ll bring that stuff for you. I tested the Odyssey 2, it works fine, even the controller missing most of the button. The power supply is kind of taped together though, but it works. The RF box with it is kinda shitty, but I’m pretty sure you can just use the Atari’s.
