yep, just a few more days^…ohhhhh that’s such a sweet ass day 1 purchase right there; I am not even sure which character I want to start with…so far I’m thinking either Hulk, Venom or Magneto…or Nightcrawler… hopefully they’ll add some more via DLC. A certain friend I played the older Ultimate Alliance games with finally got a Switch as well, so he will likely be on it too.
I know she’s popular via the Avengers movies of recent years, but I could’ve done without Black Widow wasting a damn spot on the roster like that…lame ass regular human; “clear that trash off the battlefield”, as Vegeta would say. 
Non-super heroes, getemouttaheah. (disclaimer–over in DC, Batman gets a pass on that rule though.)

They’ve confirmed a $20 season pass that comes with characters, skins, new modes and additional story chapters. Characters from the Season Pass will be from Fantastic Four, Marvel Knights and X-Men.
I think it’d be cool if they touched on a lot of the more untraditional members of the Fantastic Four like Ghost Rider and She-Hulk but I think a lot of people just want to see Marvel’s first family back in a marvel medium of any kind. So whichever way they go I’m fine with. It feels good to have them home.
X-Men wise I want super obscure characters but that likely won’t happen. I could see most the NPC X-Men they’ve shown like Beast and Colossus as the DLC characters. Which while it’d be disappointing I wouldn’t exactly mind. I just want to see Jubilee and X-23. The latter is more likely to happen than the former though. 
I’m super glad we got Nightcrawler and Psylocke though.
I’m not too familiar with the Marvel Knights faction so I can’t really say who I want. I think Blade, Punisher and Moon Knight were Marvel Knights at some point? (@hawkingbird)

Marvel Knights is tricky because I’m not sure if it refers to the group or the imprint. Moon Knight along with Shang-chi, Dagger, Luke Cage if it’s the group. If it’s the imprint that opens the door to characters like Punisher, Inhumans, Blade, Man-Thing

One of the main things I liked about that Marvel Heroes arpg from a few years ago was that Blade was a playable character, and yep that’s who I picked immediately.
…yep, I’ll get the season pass and all that; whatever special edition of this they have, I absolutely need it.

I don’t play portable long enough where this is an issue for me, but the extra 2.5 hrs is pretty big. Nice for people who play portable and won’t have to always worry about charging the Switch after a 1-2 hr play session… especially since the Switch doesn’t charge that fast.

This is a really good thing. Battery life was one of my main issues with it being labeled as a portable system since it’s battery life wasn’t the longest and on top of that it was game dependent. Makes what you’re going to get out of handheld mode a total crap shoot.
I have no inclination to update my base switch for the version with the better battery but this is only going to push sales even more.

and you already know I’m gonna be looking for this when it’s time.
That is a good increase in battery time, I prefer docked gaming myself but for long flights that would be great.

Yeah, that’s about the only time I would really need the extra battery power. It would be tempting to get one if it still docked. Colors are nice.
Edit: Waaaiiit a second… I just moseyed over to the VG thread and saw sonic posted something about a new “regular” Switch with updated battery. Is that what we’re talking about here? Lol, I thought we was still on about the mini.
