I don’t play portable long enough where this is an issue for me, but the extra 2.5 hrs is pretty big. Nice for people who play portable and won’t have to always worry about charging the Switch after a 1-2 hr play session… especially since the Switch doesn’t charge that fast.

This is a really good thing. Battery life was one of my main issues with it being labeled as a portable system since it’s battery life wasn’t the longest and on top of that it was game dependent. Makes what you’re going to get out of handheld mode a total crap shoot.
I have no inclination to update my base switch for the version with the better battery but this is only going to push sales even more.
and you already know I’m gonna be looking for this when it’s time.
That is a good increase in battery time, I prefer docked gaming myself but for long flights that would be great.
Yeah, that’s about the only time I would really need the extra battery power. It would be tempting to get one if it still docked. Colors are nice.
Edit: Waaaiiit a second… I just moseyed over to the VG thread and saw sonic posted something about a new “regular” Switch with updated battery. Is that what we’re talking about here? Lol, I thought we was still on about the mini.

My place of employment (Walmart) has the game in their inventory just not on the sales floor yet. It’s confirmed to be selling for 49.98 so I’ll be able to get it for about $15 less than msrp which makes me super happy. It also means I’ll be able to pick up the season pass and not feel bad about it. Especially if we have the voucher card for it at work since we for some reason get discounts on those too.
Outside of having to work; Friday is going to be MARVELOUS

Haven’t played with Nightcrawler in a video game since the early 2000s, so he will be my main when he’s unlocked.
Cyclops and any other X-men, Blade, and Punisher will be added to that list if they make it in.
I feel like fraud if I don’t run with T’Challa. So Black Panther is a must. Hmm…not sure on the other two. It is nice to have a Marvel game a shit ton of characters I want to use. side eyes MvCi

This character raised the bar for how awesome telekinesis can look on the big screen.
