Okay guys I got my son a switch (amazon prime deal mario/rabbids, extra controllers and £30 store credit. I also got a 128gb memory card and the lego movie 2 game. My twitch prime offers free nintendo online). Is there anything else I need? I have my eye on mario kart 8 deluxe.
He plays it on his friends switch and his mother and i used to play it on the wii.
Depending on the age I recommend Kirby Star Allies. Really fun, nothing too overly challenge, goals are very clear cut, and 4-player couch co-op.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe as well. Also up to 4 play couch co-op, Yoshi’s Crafted World, uuuuhhhh. Maybe the Crash trilogy (which is out) and the Spyro trilogy (Which is out in September).
Sonic Mania Plus, as well.

Yeah. MUA3 is going to sell like gangbusters because it covers pretty much every gaming age demographic you can think of and has couch co-op.
Super Mario Odyssey would be a good choice too depending on age. There’s a lot to do but most of it isn’t overly difficulty or tricky. Just time consuming. It’s also two players (one player controls mario the other player controls Cappy)
Few things…1 I think Splatfest has started since I just saw a vid of someone from game xplain playing it. 2. They are giving a free ticket for a drink at the crust bucket through a news article on the ability doubler. And lastly 3. There’s a dev interview for Astral Chains that just got put up apparently in the switch’s news feed.
Yeah, Splatfest begins today since it is going all weekend. Damn this is the last one for potentially years, which is weird given how popular Splatoon is Nintendo doesn’t just have a skeleton crew who put out Splat fest for another two or three years until Splatoon 3 is on the horizon.
Well Nintendo said from the jump they only planned on supporting Splat 2 and ARMS for around 2 years.
Marvel’s video game panel at SDCC is going to be announcing some features and details about MUA3 today. Most people are theorizing it’s going to be when the first DLC pack comes out and who’s in it

Loki is confirmed playable.
Free update on 8/30 will add Cyclops and Colossus as playable characters.
Marvel Knights will be the first DLC pack released. The DLC Characters will include Moon Knight, Blade, Morbius and Punisher! Release date for the Marvel Knights Pack is September!

I hope it opens the door to activision letting Nintendo port 1&2 to the switch.
