True that is the thing, Nintendo prefers their games all have a unique meaning or style to them. Which usually means quality or something unique.

Although I despise the fact they use this as reasons why similar but different titles in the same genre are shuffled to wayside because they didn’t sell as much as others.

F-Zero x and GX for life!

This is another game I own I’ve yet to play.

I actually did something the other day to help curb my anxiety or whatever it is that is keeping me from playing games.

I don’t know if it was subconsciously or what but I think one of the reasons I wouldn’t be able to focus on playing a game on my switch was because every time I’d go to my Home Screen I’d be so overwhelmed by how many games I have in my library.

(For reference I have 145 items in my redownload folder in the eShop. I don’t know if that counts DLC packs but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t lol)

So I deleted every digital game in my library to help cut down on this. I might also uninstall all the physical games I’m currently not playing as well. So I’m only focused on one game at a time and won’t be able to play anything else until the game I’m on is finished.

The switch has an amazing library. Both physical and digital. The fact ive barely experienced any of the games I own as we’re rolling into year 4 in about 6 months makes me super fucking upset. I’ve never been this way with any other console.

So I think this on top of me no longer working I think I’ll be able to start chipping away at my backlog again. I’m busy all day with chores around the house today but either this evening or tomorrow I’ll fire up MUA3 again and get back to the grind.

I have no intentions of 100%ing that game cause it’s built to be a god damn grind fest but I at least want to beat the main story and unlock all the characters before moving on.

After that I’m not sure what I’ll play. Maybe something smaller in scope but it’ll likely be another RPG. Thinking either Octopath Traveler or go back to Xenoblade Chronicles DE.

Have you played Fast RMX? Is really good and often goes on sale on eshop. I definitely recommend it

Yeah. 8am for me too. I have a doctors appointment at 7. So I’ll likely watch it and go back to bed

I’ll check it out, thanks for the rec! I love the fzero tracks on Mario kart, I can only imagine what they’d do with a full game.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is looking sooooohooooo CLEAN. The championship look so dang good. And Not!Falco. I am fighting the urge to open up my copy of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. Buuuut other games are helping me hold off.

Hades is AWESOME. The visuals, the upgrades, the various weapons, the combat, the combat, the combat! It doesn’t matter if you are using a sword or a bow, combat in this game is so ultra satisfying. I have no idea why I didn’t start this game sooner.

Pokémon Presents starts in less than 5

goddamnit

Pokémon exclusivity depending on the version has always been a thing. So…? I don’t get how that’s a spoiler or news

To be honest, Sword is the first Pokemon game I’ve ever played outside of emulation.

Yeah. Version exclusive Pokémon has literally always been a thing in the games. Whether it’s normal ass Pokémon or mythic/legendary.

Forms too sometimes

I’ve played Pokemon Go as well, but I don’t really count that; since it’s technically a mobile game.

When the music video at the end of the Pokémon Presents has a better over arching story and animation style than the anime since during its diamond and Pearl block.

I’m hype for that Doubles Cup.

Just got this in the mail from Nintendo

Cool I guess. It was free through the myNintendo rewards but I had to pay $5 S&H. Which is about all I’d actually spend on it if given the chance
