Double Dragon 4 coming next week. I always thought the Vita would have been a better fit than ps4. At least it’s coming to A portable.
The Switch is truly amazing, from a design standpoint. The joycons are immaculate. I’m still adjusting to the fact that when I feel like going up to my room that I can just undock and go to my room is man. I know the wii u had the same concept but in my case my room was too far for the gamepad signal to hold up haha.
Oh yeah…also— at first I thought I would want the pro controller… but the joycons and that middle connector piece are actually good enough, at least to me. Sometimes it’s portable mode… sometimes I prefer using the joycons separate from the system…and sometimes I like playing with them on the connector piece as the bigger control option. This is actually the most interesting system ever designed, imo… at least purely relating to design and the concept. It’s been my most played system ever since launch day.
*Azure Striker Pack is next for me…meanwhile in Fate/Extella, I finally passed that annoying 4th stage for Tamamo’s story.
sheeeeit, I’m not even sure when I will ever have time to get back into Zelda, since all this other stuff is out and stealing my attention away from that. Fate has been my main deal since it came out, and that was shortly after I got Phantom Trigger…annnnd that’s on top of that other game Implosion that I still haven’t finished. The lineup here is already strong.
Are you a fan of the Fate franchise or is Extella your first taste of it? Just curious because I def wanna pick it up, but Idk if the game is so lore heavy for someone who doesn’t know Fate that it’d affect enjoyment
You’re probably better off watching the animes if you want your first Fate experience.

Hmm I’m not really looking into getting into the franchise, just this game looks like a musou so I was interested. I just didn’t know if I would be lost on anything jumping into this one assuming it has a story you’d be interested in

yeah I’ve heard of the Fate franchise before but never watched or read it… so this is my first real exposure to it. I was only really attracted to this game because I usually enjoy that “Dynasty Warriors” genre…oddly enough I’m not a fan of actual Dynasty Warriors as a franchise though… I’m only interested when they use that general framework and put another IP on it.
ohoooo it just hit me— if some company out there ever blessed us with a POWER RANGERS/SENTAI “musou” game, I’d pass out from the critical levels of hype…especially if they put as many rangers in there as possible for the roster of playable characters 
sheeeeit-- my first choices in there would be Quantum Ranger, original Green Ranger from the Morphin’ era, or that ridiculously overpowered dude from Super Megaforce who had the powers of all “6th Rangers” that were before him. (that was the whole gimmick of that season… that team could access the powers of previous Ranger teams whenever.)
The extra ranger not only had that…but he also had a mode where he had all previous 6th Ranger powers active at the same time. It was too awesome, man. How is it someone has not already made this? Just about all the Ranger games I’ve ever seen have looked like trash I wouldn’t spend a nickel on.
There was that 1 side-scroller that was looking forward to recently, but it turned out to be hot garbage…fortunately I found that out without having to spend money on it (*it just got worse and worse the more I read up and watched vids of it in action) This IP is perfect for a Dynasty Warriors style design…sadly I doubt it will ever become the awesome action game it deserves to be.
I’m admittedly a bit picky with this the more I think about it----like I wouldn’t want them to just be in Ranger form by default… you have to start off fighting in regular human form, then transformation could be a power that you decide to activate for enhanced speed/strength/agility and higher combo potential, of course. Any giant monster battles would just have you assume control of a megazords with the environment set accordingly to help the illusion that you’re now this building-sized super robot that’s fighting a giant monster.

OK… I was going to avoid Skyrim on Switch, but I’m not so sure I can resist the temptation after watching that vid.

[] For one… it was and still is known as a tragically buggy game… to the point where you keep wondering “ok when is the next time this will crash…” while you’re playing instead of enjoying the damn thing.
[] The other issue is that I’ve already played the hell out of that game on 360 and X1… I’ve created about 4 characters just on those 2 versions of the game… and I’ve gone through my favorite part of it (Dawnguard) 2 or 3 times now. (always siding with the vamps, of course; most of you know that’s a “thing” for me… I’ve only made 1 character that was not a vamp, and he was a werewolf.)

I also got the PC version later, actually… and that was my “portable” Skyrim since it was running on a laptop.
…and still… I’m actually considering a 4th purchase of this damn game, despite all the aforementioned things. Naturally this would be even more convenient than having it on my laptop, especially if it ends up running much better on Switch.
Now… the one final issue of concern is whether or not this is really the version that includes the DLC (what was called “Special Edition” once it hit PS4/X1)… I thought we had confirmation that it is in fact the “Special edition”, with the likely absence of mods… but now I’m not so sure. If it’s just plain ol’ “vanilla” Skyrim then that’s actually a dealbreaker for me (*along with the question of whether this is prone to crashing like the X1/PS4 version; oddly enough I never had an issue with frequent crashing on the 360 version).
The DLC took this game to a new level of greatness, at least for me… Not only was “Dawnguard” a great vampire story to play either as a vampire or a hunter… this significantly changed vampirisim and lycanthropy in awesome ways and added skill-tree perks for both! The only possible point of critique that comes to mind is that there is no variation of builds, since you end up getting enough points to fully max out the Vampire Lord form’s skill-tree…you eventually get all the perks, so there is no aspect of sacrificing 1 thing to put points in something else, like with other rpgs. Of course on x1/ps4/PC there’s mods that change all that and give you way more perks on the tree (*the “Better Vampires” mod is on PC and the other consoles and it is THE SHIT, man. 
) Anyway, yeah I will probably get this yet again if it includes the DLC stuff.
I think the Switch version as all the DLC and addational Amiibo support. Rumor is the BOTW Link Amiibo unlocks some Zelda gear in Skyrim.
