People who have played the first splatoon and play with motion controls already know what the deal is but if you’re new to playing Splatoon this gives a bit of insight.
Too be honest I don’t know why motion isn’t a thing for other shooters especially if the controller is capable of doing so like the Dualshock.
Yeah going from game pad to pro controller in BotW really highlights how well motion controls work in tandem with analog aiming versus right analog by itself. I found it quite jarring without motion controls. I used to think right analog and mouse were fine, but not anymore. Splatoon was the same.
The controls still work, but it’s sooo~ smooth with that added gyro.
Grabbed the Bayo1 Bayonetta amiibo today since I ordered it, and decided to see if the Bayo2 design was there…it was. Grabbed that one too because I might regret it later, but it has nothing on the original design. I felt the build quality looks nicer as well. Tried using them on Mario Maker just now…not compatible…
So I have my first issue with the switch and it’s exactly where I thought it would be. Whatever mechanism clicks the right joycon in place has been tweaked enough for it to not fully lock in. It looks like it COULD be really fixed, like the tracks look like they’re easily replaced but I have no idea where to order parts or if that’s even an option right now.
Havent jumped online quite yet. I had to fight a uh…octoling…made out of toast?..in a toaster oven…yyyuuup… And i just beat the motorcycle biker samurai boss.
Marie is kinda funny with her comments and its she is a bit salty about off the hook.
It’s like playing a charger except firing a constant beam of near instant death with no warning lazer.
I mean yeah it is free to chargers but otherwise it just does the charger’s job but better, rolling up to an enemy controlled tower unleashing a full charge is almost as devastating as dropping a super.
The preorders went up the day after they were announced and basically sold out everywhere that day (GameStop, Walmart, Target, Best Buy…etc)
So now your only chance is to get them on release day.
Edit: Walmart still has them in stock but you can only find them through their smart device app. You also have to look them up specifically by name
So “Urbosa”, “Daruk”, “Revali” and “Mipha”.
They’re also at a lower price than MSRP which is nice. I’d preorder them sooner than later. Zelda Amiibo related is considering extremely rare now. The champions will be no different.
