Oh. Fair enough.

I figured it would have happened by now. Surprised it hasn’t.

I didn’t hear very good things about XCX. Should it get a port?

Who did you hear that from? I’m in the camp that says it def deserves to be played.

Edit: That game and how open it was preceded BotW. The verticality, ‘space australia and Hell’, the mechs, the side story. The main story isn’t much but it has at least one big reveal that makes some of things you can do on foot make sense. Most of side stories in that game are where its at story wise. I could go on and on about how the music works so well in tandem with your exploration. 'ONE BY ONNNNEEEE ONE BY ONNNNEE’. God man…I still have vivid memories of running around in that area with this music in the background.

Definitely deserves a port, game was excellent.

Couple places. Mostly heard it was big but kind of empty and little narrative. Just what I heard. Never played or looked into it more then that

If I didn’t really like the battle system in XBC2, am I going to like the remake that’s coming?

You get to fly around an open world and bop giant monsters with a group of upgradable Gundams.

Those people probably only played the main story. The main story is sparse but the meat of the story is really in the side quests of the game. Depending on the side quests and choices you make can change some things or make events play out differently in other side quests.

I also want to say I vastly prefer the combat system in XCX then I do XC2

XBC’s combat is similiar to 2’s but I prefer it. You can move and attack better in XBC and XCX than in XC2.

Story was whatever. But the side quests, characters, giant monsters and fucking robots are what sells the game imo.

Wasn’t the 3DS XBC port exclusively for the New 3DS and not able to run on the regular 3DS? If so, another example of a backwards compatible hardware upgrade- same as GBC and Gameboy.

It basically did the Breath of the Wild exploration stuff but with uglier graphics and vehicle transforming Mecha.

It honestly has some great moments like approaching a seemingly innocent looking area only for a super boss to appear or be part of background coming to life and wiping you out. The game also had some stuff with the right changes could make for a fun online game.

I don’t know if I would want a port but a sequel or enhanced port would be good.

Doom is pretty Kino on Switch.

Lmk the times you are hopping on multiplayer for Doom

How much you manage to snag doom for?

Edit: Langrisser is on back order for 1-2 months. That’s kinda awesome. I can get it at Best Buy with free 2-day shipping but I’m tight on funds right now so probably won’t get it until next month. Which is fine.

Without shipping it was $58 ish and that was for a used like new copy.

We still have no word when DOOM Eternal for Switch is dropping? I kinda wanna hold out for that version but I’d love to play it the same day Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes out.

Correct. My guess the rumored Switch direct will tell us when. Whenever the said direct happens anyways.

The only thing Switch is getting same day when it comes to Doom is Doom 64. It’s drops 3/20 on all platforms
