The Nintendo Switch Thread! - Deadly Premonition 2: Blessing in Disguise 7/10 - Paper Mario: The Origami King 7/17

Crap I forgot we haven’t got either of the Zelda remasters from the Wii U. Two is not enough.

I’d buy it. Won’t lose my mind but I would buy it. Then I can get my Wolf Link Amiibo to 30 hearts for BOTW.

Oh yea and id get to play a fun game again. That’s cool to.

Id buy Wind Waker as well.

I mean, regardless of what it is I’d buy it. Lol.

I just want a from the ground up Zelda II remake. That game had so much potential that wasnt realized by bad translations and lack of a narrative.

I really want it to be 3D world cause hot take, I liked it better than most of the other 3D Mario’s.

The only thing (imo) that beats it is Galaxy 2. Even then it’s a different day different answer scenario for me.

But Galaxy 2 is pretty much the perfect mario game.

Shit, I’d love remasters of Galaxy 1 and 2, with updated controls.

Super Mario 3D World was legit dope. I never understood why that game got the flack it did from content creators on YouTube. Yeah, it was on the Wii U, but when a game is awesome, a game is awesome, regardless of the platform its on. I suppose some took issue with the game not being another Super Mario Galaxy game or a much wanted sandbox Super Mario, but the game was insanely fun with so much varied level design. And the soundtrack? The beats on that game are FIYA. I would gladly pay $60 again for 3DW

I would love it. I Glad to see TP get a release other than the GC.

Like a lot of people, I never owned a Wii U and thus never got to play The Wonderful 101. If it comes out on the Switch, though, I’ll get it day one. It looks awesome and Baeonetta is in it.

They were more disgruntled about Nintendo being cunts via only giving permission to certain people to stream Nintendo games.

Nintendo is still hella against streaming but it’s no where near as bad as it was 8 or so years ago.

Best case scenario, everything that you own for your current switch will be compatible. Worst case scenario is you rebut everything.

I think considering they’ve been predicting that since before the switch even came out I have to doubt it’s validity.

The old saying usually does hold true, where there is smoke there is fire.

Nintendo also isn’t dumb so they know there is a market for those of us suckers that will pay again for a slightly better device. But personally I think they would be smarter if possible to hold off on a Switch Pro until 2021 no need to face the new systems head on the handheld market is Nintendo’s alone.

I’m in the boat that thinks Ninty should just wait 2 more years and just release a successor at this point. We all know that once PS5 and XBseX comes out that the 3rd parties aren’t going to want to put forth the effort to even attempt to port down most releases to the system regardless of the sales base. It WILL dry up. I wouldn’t blame them at that point considering how wide that gap is. Ninty will just have to full on support the system on all cylinders until they can get it out. I know they’ve been really enjoying this support they’ve gottwn in the past 3 years but they’ll come back if they knock the launch out of the park again.

You might see Devs just outright developing for all 3 console bases at once for their new games. PS5, XBOXBUTTSEX and Switch.

Nintendo said the Switch’s life span is going to be 6-8 years. Give the overwhelming and monumental success of the switch I’m leaning towards 8 more than 6. Gotta squeeze everyone’s wallet as hard as they can.

All that said; We’re not even in year 3.

So a revision as opposed to a successor is more likely. I have no doubt that the Switch Pro is coming. But if it does it won’t be this summer.

They are just gonna keep saying this shit until happens and then pretend they have some great insight.

For me it depends how significant an update it is when it comes to specs, features and ergonomics. If this thing sells for the rumored price of $400 than I definitely want a better screen. I want a bezeless, vibrant, color accurate HD screen. Compared to all the other mobile devices I use looking at the Switch’s screen feels like the stone age. Watches got better screens than the switch.
