I haven’t played The Witcher 3 on Switch but I have done just about everything…multiple times…on PS4. You will be using the shoulder buttons and triggers a lot.

I get what you are saying, and at least to me the small cramped size of the joycons even attached to the Switch can make it a straight and can cramp my hands after a while. I find that the Hori Split Pad feels like a wider Switch Pro controller and is easier to hold. There also a reassignable button on the underside of the each Split pad joycon. The cons are you lose Rumble, NFC (amiibo Support), motion control, and it lacks bluetooth wireless. It is also bigger it does not fit into most carrying cases with the split pro joycons attached.
I found that this case I found on Amazon does fit, but it is a bit snug
God I feel like I am Shrilling for Hori now, may as well leave the link to the Hori Split Pad Pro joycons as well.

It is not a new model. It is the same model that been there since 2017.
Just a new Sku as there “Mario” inspired Two Red Joycons. Red Joycons been around since color choices had expanded for both sides to include Red.
There one hardware revision with slightly better battery life as some of the components are no longer made so Nintendo had to do a revision.
Only other model(s) are the Lite Handhelds.
It literally says in the description it’s the Improved Battery Model.

The only bundle that has been available during Black Friday and cyber sales week that comes with the old model is the MK8D bundle from Nintendo. Every thing else that has been provided by retailers has been the new model.

No, you are trying to say it said “HAC-001(-01)/Improved Battery Model” when those words are not found anywhere on the web page. It isn’t semantics, you just want to be a cunt.
It’s a new model. You can tell by the red box without the hand. And it also has the model number listed as HADSKACAE. Old models start with HAC, updated models start with HAD.
