The Nintendo Switch Thread! - Deadly Premonition 2: Blessing in Disguise 7/10 - Paper Mario: The Origami King 7/17

Best JRPG I’ve played in ages. Only thing that annoys me about it is…

Summary

Why the heck can’t I get Veronica back to her actual form. I figured it would happen at some point in the game. Then after awhile, I just accepted that it would probably just happen in the ending. Then they literally give you adult Veronica back, to take her away like five minutes later. WTF man :expressionless:

No actual new content like new Pokémon, locations or gym leaders. Just showing content locked behind preordering or having existing save states from Lets Go!.

They are doing a horrible job at marketing this game. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Pokémon drop the ball this hard.

Definitely not getting SW/SH.

Also, what do you guys think the Over/under is on us getting Bayo3 or MP4 news at The Game Awards in December? Nintendo has been dropping bombs on the award show for a few years now. So it’s definitely possible.

Maybe they’ll announce a new game entirely?:thinking::thinking:

VS Castlevania is the bomb, hard as fuck but awesome

Yeah they are not showing much at all… the dyna/gigantamax is whatever for me. I just hope the game is actually good since this will be my first mainline Pokemon game since the original Blue version.

Skullgirls 2nd encore for this system releases Oct 22.

I got myself a boat on Dragon Quest II. They even included the world map from DQI. Yeah, not everything is there and of course much has changed in 100 years, but that is still cool. I like how DQII even mentions Princess Gwaelin and the hero from the first game. Real talk, one of my fav moments of DQI was carrying Gwaelin back to the castle.

Oh and this came two days after release date, but at least it arrived on my day off.

Two of my favorite things in one game: robots and ninjas. Lets. Freaking. GO.

Nintendo Switch has reached the milestone of over 15M units sold in the United States alone. On top of that it has been the best selling console every month this year.

Not bad for a two and a half years. It’s going to blow by the Xbox One’s worldwide number before year end.

They are very close, the Xbox One sold 41 million since 2013 and the Nintendo Switch sold more than 36 Million since 2017. About 20 Million in 2018 alone. PS4 is over 91 Million.

Also the Switch outsold every previous Nintendo Console since the N64 with the exception of the OG Wii. If you are wondering the SNES sold 49.1 million consoles, and the NES/Famicom sold 61.91 Million consoles.

PS4 has sold over 100M. They released a commemorative PS4 for the milestone

There milestone is 500 Million total Playstation consoles, that includes PS1, 2, 3, and 4, not that there was 100 Million PS4’s sold.

Wrong. Back in June Sony announced the milestone.

Problem is I got conflicting sources, so I went with the low ball for the PS4 numbers.
Also the Verge is not a credible source of info, they are worse than Kotaku.

Their quality as a source doesn’t matter much when they link directly to Sony’s info.

If the Verge tells me 1+1=2 I still think they are wrong, especially after their “How to build a PC” video.

So you disregard obvious facts you know to be true due to source alone?

Bruh. Their source is directly from fucking Sony.

Stop being purposely ignorant because they wrote one article you didn’t like.
