Nintendo accounts tend to be machine bound.
You can’t freely bounce between two different devices. Even with the SD card. You have to do a system transfer
It is Nintendo doing their standard Nintendo copyright stuff. They make it difficult to copy the data to keep it from being potentially used for piracy or cheating. You have to use a particular method to get it to work so moving a SD card by itself doesn’t make the games work including logging both systems for your Nintendo account and making sure one is the primary and that both systems are never online at the same time regardless of if you have Switch online or not

I agree, there is a work around but it’s so convoluted that it is not worth it.
If you want to play your switch both on the Go and on a tv, get a normal switch and not the Lite.
It’s easier to get a 2nd dock for travel than it is for two Switch consoles to share the same account.

Maybe the lite version is more comfortable for some people. I kinda dislike playing mine undocked. My hands aren’t made to play on the joycons or even the stock holder thing for more than an hour

Oh that sucks. I was thinking about getting my kid her own separate switch. Lite was a possibility. Might not do it now tho if transferring data for her stuff is gonna be all stupid.
Then again maybe I’ll still do it. I dunno how excited she’ll be to start her games from scratch, but i guess she’ll just have to take it if she wants her own.

Dammit nintendo…after I went through the trouble of buying at a slightly higher price off some guy on Ebay…oh well I checked the shipping and tax I don’t feel too bad due to it just a mere 10 bucks cheaper than what I paid for
OOS on the Dreamer’s Edition. Just went to see how much it’d cost me and created an Nintendo Store account and got the out of stock notification.

I cant do majoras mask. I’ve tried to get into at least 5 times but it’s not for me. Only Zelda I didn’t beat outside mobile ones, og Nintendo 1+2, and the one that was only sword fights.
I’ll probably get around to the DS ones eventually.
