Yeah amazon is saying my order is supposed to be here Friday but it hasn’t even shipped yet. There’s no way it’s getting here on time. Lol
Just because it hasn’t shipped doesn’t mean it won’t get there in time. It all depends on where the closest amazon distribution center is from you.
I usually get emails the night before launch or very early hours of the morning saying my game/book/whatever will be there by its release date and it always is. I have a warehouse/distribution center about 4 hours west of me.
I’ve had prime for 10 years and release day delivery for however long they’ve offered it has only failed me once.
My closest Amazon distro center is like a 30 min drive from me.
I live in a area that can get same day delivery on certain goods, Hell baltimore city can do same hour delivery on certain items
Seattle is the same way. They usually soft launch their newest services in Seattle since that’s where their HQ and biggest Distro centers are.
I moved away from Seattle as they were rolling out all the stuff like same day/under hour delivery/2 hour grocery delivery, however.
Get your panties out of a bunch if you have release day shipping from Amazon and it hasn’t shipped yet. It will be there Friday. You all must be new to Amazon.

My closest Amazon distribution center is in New Jersey which is about 30 minutes away. If I order early enough I can get same day delivery on a few things. One day delivery is also offered but I avoid it as Amazon tends to use laser ship for that. That company is fucking awful. Lately I noticed Amazon themselves have been delivering orders in my area. They delivered my last order and I had no problems.

I was going to call this store tomorrow that broke street dates regularly for fighting games, but apparently they are closed for good now lol. Last game I got from em was MKX like 4 days early. Was hoping to get Link’s Awakening early.

So I apparently have like $30 worth of reward points on amazon for using my AMEX card.
So…thinking about using it for DQXI-S or Luigi’s Mansion 3.
I’d use it on Links Awakening but my debit card has already been charged.
Resumed Astral Chain. Combat feels so dang good in this game. I’m on file 3 and I just met Lappy. Best character in the game.
So I guess September 27th is Dragon Quest day because not only is DQXI S dropping but DQI-III are all hitting the eShop on the same day. At first I was worried that DQ I-III were gonna look odd but judging from the screens on the eShop, they look pretty good. Almost like the Super Famicom DQ games.

They’re using the upscaled/remastered Mobile versions. Hopefully if they bring IV-VI over to the switch they will do the same.
Especially for DQIV since the DS remaster of IV is missing a lot of key features present in the original. They were put back in with the mobile port, though

It takes at least 3 days for things to arrive to me from the nearest distribution center. Probably won’t arrive until Tuesday at this rate assuming that it ships today or tomorrow.
I checked Amazon and my Link’s Awakening amiibos, Link’s Awakening and just purchased Snake amiibo will all be arriving tomorrow! Guess I was stressed over nothing.
Oh and you can find cats in Astral Chain? This is the best police game ever.

I order from amazon quite often and this isn’t the first time this has happened. I just find it funny.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will have DLC for its multiplayer modes
Man…I wasn’t aware how the game got developed tbh. The fact it became a pet project to so many people is awesome. I especially enjoy the fact that even when they got green lit to make it a Zelda title they still had the “IDGAF” attitude and just did what they wanted.
The Twin Peaks inspiration makes a toooooon of sense too.
