the current frontrunners are Astral Chain and the new Fire Emblem. I do plan on price-matching whatever game I get to Walmart’s price, since Target charges MSRP for Nintendo games. Might be able to bump it up to two games if the price-match goes through.
If it helps: Target is having a 20% off sale on select digital titles for all platforms. There’s a good chunk of them being for the Switch. I think it might be online only? I’m not sure. I just know it’s going on.
Astral Chain is on the way to my house and should be there by the time I get back from this family reunion. I also preordered Ninja Warriors since it is only $30.
I have Astral Chain. Haven’t dug into it yet. Still trying to get Fire Emblem out of my system. If you are fan of the genre or the series. I recommend Fire Emblem. Especially since you seem to have limited funds. Fire Emblem has literally hundreds of hours to content.

Hmm might try to price match this at BB or Target. Also jumped on the Astral Chain train as well since walmart had it for $49.
Let me know if you get BB to match it. That seems to be the only store that has it physical in store.
Almost to the end of Astral Chain. Games really cool, and I think its smartly set up. Kind of a “Platinum Action Game 101” sort of game. It does a good job of teaching you how to play the game, how the mechanics work, and it doesn’t dump a bunch of them on you all at once, instead willing them out over time.or through weapon and skill tree upgrades. Kind of wish the Baton came with more from the start or unlocked a bit faster but I’m used to these games. The Legions are really cool and offers a playstyle no other game does that I can think of. It’s very fun.

I would hope that’s gone into during the direct.
It’s amazing that Nintendo has finally learned how advertising works with the switch.
The big gorilla enemies are kicking my ass and I just got to the point in the game where they introduced the little shielder enemies with them. Those fuckers…smh

A random twitter user popped up literally 2 days ago saying a direct will be announced soon and included how long the direct would be. Which as we know, it was this morning. He also broke down what people are going to likely see in the direct.

I’d be happy for more Bayo 3 news now that Astral Chain is out but I feel they are gonna hold out until the game awards. Not gonna hold out hope on that. BotW 2 info not happening I can agree with…think we’ll be lucky to hear anything on that until e3 2020.
Overwatch and the Smash 5 character announcement are likely considering what we’ve seen so far. That SNK goof is too coincidental right before the Direct.
And how can I not even mention Mario Kart 9. Holy hell. That’s a wild card. I want it but I don’t want to get hype that it will happen.
Find it reeeeally interesting that this leak says nothing about DxM when its coming out this month…
