Damn.
Leveling up my team is going to be a pain in the ass now.
It seems unimpressive to me. A slight bump for a 100 bucks? Eh…also those small plug in upscalers like those are always too good to be true. I would wait for someone to do an analysis on it first, like My Life In Gaming or something. Those upscalers always generate visual noise based on my research.
Yeah that’s kinda my feeling on it, too. But for anyone who simply has to have the best possible resolution it might be worth a look. It’s crowd-funded, and they’ve almost met their goal, so it is generating interest. I’m definitely gonna pass on it though.
I should have started on hard for FE. I have a tendency to grind my chars to the next class if they are close. I’m like lvl 18-20 when the suggested level for current maps are just 13-15. So OP now.
Like the M Gaming cables, they have a generic AA filter. Okay for a small section of console gaming (PS2, GC, OG Xbox, maybe the PS3 and 360), but not retro consoles or current gen.
so, this next week I’m gonna sit down and decide what all I’m getting with my Switch at the end of the month without breaking the goddamn bank.
If it’s going to even remotely put you in a bad or awkward financial situation than you just need to wait until you’re a position to where it won’t.
No need to put yourself in financial strain when you don’t have to.
I mean how much stuff do you need right away? I bought my Switch with Breath of the Wild and Bayonetta 2 and I was good for like 2 months…damm BOTW lol.
Like you don’t have to get every thing at once.
Yeah. Since being in the hospital and my 3 months of recovery before going back to work I’ve had to severely cut back on how much I buy. Not just with games but everything. Being away that long drained my savings (which I’m trying to build back up slowly) cause I had to buy a lot of diet related shit, mainly food and vitamins, some of my medicine also wasn’t covered by my insurance for some reason and my monthly bills.
My Nintendo eShop wishlist is like 50+ games lol. I had to cancel almost everything I had preordered on amazon and iTunes too. Video games, art books, comics, movies, statues, whatever. I also cancelled my crunchyrolll, Netflix and Hulu accounts. The only thing I’ve kept streaming service wise is the WWE Network and a podcast hosting channel (if that counts?)
That’s shit I can do without. Not having food and falling behind on bills I can’t do.
No one is telling you what to do. You’re a grown ass man. People just don’t want to see you in a bad spot when it’s 100% avoidable.
We have that line of credit I mentioned. It’s smallish, but we want to have some of that as well for my grandkids and their Christmas.
Edit: FWIW, I did a lot of recon today between Walmart and Best Buy. It’s definitely happening; but I more than likely have a budget in the $500ish range for everything.
An issue that isnt new, but there new information about it
https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/08/heres-why-nintendo-switch-consoles-keep-frying/?amp=1
Ahhhhhh yeah
so, the wife and I talked some more about this yesterday; and we came down to an agreement about the budget; which is $500 with a $50 overage for taxes and stuff like that. I figured doing a crapton of price-matching from Walmart and Amazon will get me below that, especially on games.

that actually sounds pretty dope tbh. Makes me wish I could open my switch before Christmas
Pokémon teasing new info about sword and shield come Wednesday.
I didn’t realize Gamestop offers trade-in value of $200 for a Switch. I might do that and just get the new model if the value remains the same when it’s out. $100 for more 2-3 more hours battery life is worth it for me. Also some people are saying the new model has better joy-cons but it’s not confirmed yet?
One huge issue there boss, you need both Consoles to transfer your info
couldn’t you make an direct image of the MicroSD card, and then follow the steps to deactivate the console? Once he got the new console, pop the SD card into the new Switch and activate it as the main console??
Yeah but if he buys the new one first, transfer it and then sells the old one back that should be fine.
Although I hear system transfer can be a bitch so follow the instructions well.
