I don’t. But $350 disappearing and reappearing in your account would be frustrating to anyone.
Cause being condescending is a great way to go about this
Naw. Money has nothing to do with it. I’ve traveled most of my life. I’ve been to over half the US and several countries. While I do like traveling I just don’t find it a priority.
so, you guys saw my posting in the VGG thread … the only thing I could see for Switch at the con was Doom Multiplayer. And yes, the Pro Controller is very nice to hold.
I just bought a switch 2 weeks ago, I’m not buying a Pro controller until the d-pad is fixed. I’m currently using the 8bitdo M30 and I have pre-ordered the SN30 Pro +.
surprisingly I haven’t played with my pro controller in quite a while; I had to clear some dust off it just yesterday…was going to use it, but STILL went to using the joycons instead…this is despite the occasional drifting problem on my right joycon…yeah, sadly that bullshit issue appeared on mine as well recently…it started a few weeks ago; fortunately it only does it for a little while then it’s back to normal. Anyway, pro controller has been absolutely perfect in every way, at least in my opinion. It and the xbox 360 controller are my favorites of all time (prior to the 360 era, I considered the Genesis 6-button to be the previous champion.)
sheeeittt, this reminds me, speaking of controllers…
THE WORST—
“Turbo Touch 360”-- wasn’t for the 360; this was before that era…and this shit was atrocious. I got it for free from some magazine; I can’t even remember why…I think they were just giving it away to subscribers. I remember it being terribly uncomfortable to hold for any extensive period of time, and the main gimmick was it not having a real d-pad…it had a touch-pad in place of a traditional cross-key d-pad…basically like the usual trackpad you see on laptops.
The N64 controller-- it’s ugly, uncomfortable to hold, strange button placement; it’s an oddly large size… this shit was pitiful.
Atari Jaguar was pretty bad too, though I only vaguely remember that one.
Right on, man. I have that SN30 Pro+ on pre-order as well, looking forward to it. I don’t have a source, but I’ve read somewhere that later Pro controller models have a somewhat better D-pad than the first round, but mine is garbage. I’ve been using the Gbros adapter with the SNES mini controller, which is amazing for playing. But you can’t create level with it in Mario Maker so I gotta switch back and forth, which is a bit of a pain. It’ll be nice to have it all in one controller. You’d think after 30+ years Nintendo would be able to get the D-pad right.
I did bookmark the SN30 Pro+, since it’s a full $20 less than buying a pro controller in store or from Amazon. I’m probably gonna start buying accessories this next month, since I am definitely getting a Switch for Christmas.
Was busy all weekend so just now I was able to go pick up FE. Went to my local GameStop but they only got enough copies for preorders. So I just went to Best Buy instead and they had plenty. But wait, there’s more!
As I was checking out rdy to pay the full price the girl said she price matched Walmart for me so I only paid 49.99 + tax.
Idk why it was only 49.99 at Walmart but Best buy indeed.
Walmart has been under a recent directive to undercut Amazon and Best Buy in game sales. Most of their physical games are below MSRP by at least $5, if not more. I have personally about a month to commit to either buying physical cartridges again or having yet another console with all digital items (I’m considering all-digital again because I can’t be arsed to switch a cartridge, also my grandson will probably lose them).
