Plus you know the Switch will have Virtual Console, it makes a dedicated Emu box that only emulates 1 system and 30 fixed games a moot point.
So all those NES, SNES, Turbo Graphic 16, Sega Genesis, N64, Game Cube, Wii, Wii U, Commodore 64, GBA, DS, and Arcade titles will be there.
And you can pick and choose which old school games you want without hacking a little box.
So I going to nab right away The NES original Super Mario Bros and Neo Turf Masters.
You paid twice the retail price you idiot. Not once but Twice for a stupid TV Plug-n-play box, and you paid twice the MSRP, Twice the retail price.
The second unit you paid even more for you had imported from Europe.
The Reason the Wii U failed was not the game library, lesser spec, or lack of 3rd party support. Having lower specs was never a weakness for Nintendo. For example the Original DMG GameBoy outsold more advance full color handhelds. The reason the Wii U failed was because marketing. Poor marketing and a terrible name caused the Wii U to fail. Most people going to Best Buy or Game Stop thought the Wii U was a tablet Add-on for the Wii.
Anyone who worked retail with video games can confirm this.
How do you know? Did you ever use it? Nintendo them selves say the unit has a 2.5 to 6 hour battery. Most reviewers have confirmed Nintendo’s claims.
The Switch it self sports a 4310 mAh battery (largest capacity battery to date in a handheld mobile gaming device), that is twice the capacity of a PS Vita slim (2200 mAh). The 3DS and PS Vita also have similar 3-6 hour play times. The Wii U Tablet game pad as the same 3 to 6 hour battery life and it does zero processing, all the processing is done on the Wii U console. On the other hand the Switch is a complete system.
You know what else the Switch has better battery life than, every single gaming laptop on the market. Take a Gaming Laptop off AC power, and it goes to battery saving Mode, so your laptop throttles down the CPU and GPU.
Even then with the down clocked CPU and GPU a gaming Laptop only gives at most 2 hours of battery life.
"OMG Teh Switch has issues"
Dude, every new console release has issues. If you don’t want the issues just don’t become an early adopter.
Most issues gets resolved a few weeks to a few months after the console has launched.
