I picked up Danmaku Unlimited III, its only 10 bucks and worth it for the OST alone. Thankfully its a wonderfully fun and vibrant little shmup, i highly recommend it :tup:
Oh, I picked up Danmaku Unlimited III last year. That is one of my favorite shooters to come out on the system. Haven’t beaten it yet, but I love the bullet graze system and yeah, that soundtrack is all kinds of awesome.

If you like Danmakou you might wannt to give Shikhondo a try as well. The gameplay is similar in a lot of ways but it features a really distinct artstyle. There’s also a nice physical edition available from play-asia if you’re into collecting.

While I am eager to hear more about Three Houses, I have a backlog and them announcing more then that won’t help me at all. I bought the physical copy but still haven’t messed with No More Heroes or Etrian Odyssey Nexus.
My backlog is almost my entire switch library. But I still keep buying games. I don’t know why. Blind fanboyism maybe? I always want to play the games I buy but I either get too busy due to work or I get too wrapped up in my own head space (I suffer from bipolar depression) and get way too lethargic or have no motivation to do anything. Especially video games.
It really fucking sucks.

Of the games you listed, Mega Man 11 shouldn’t take you long to beat. 3-4 hours at the least 5-6 at most.
I fired up Black Bird. The way the game scrolls from left to right reminds me of Fantasy Zone. Anyway, Black Bird is really fun but also pretty freaking hard. You get NO continues but there is a practice mode for every level you get to. Dig the dark visual style in this game.
I’m playing Oniken. The intro was so late '80s early '90s that it hurt in a good way. Zaku is Kenshiro with a sword. I’m waiting for the one cut scene when he does some poor sap “You are already dead.” Ducking in this game is pretty much required to avoid a lot of enemy fire in this game. Enemies hit fast and you have a short period of invulnerability. Thankfully you have a huge life bar but it can and will get chiseled away pretty quickly if you aren’t careful.

Link’s Awakening remake. That game has a special place in my heart for being the first Zelda game I owned and one of my favorite GB games. I bought it on 3DS but never played it. With the remake coming out later this year, I guess I should get to it.
Nintendo announced a 99 player Tetris game AND announces that it is dropping on the eShop later today? That is one insane tactical nuke. The eShop is going to BREAK the second that game hits.
And we have SLOPES for Super Mario Maker 2. Man. Ya’ll have no idea how stoked I am for this game. Creating levels in the first game brought me so much joy and really pushed me when it came to making hard levels. With the Switch being such a huge success the player base for the sequel is going to be so much bigger than the first game. Yeah, we’re going to get tons of troll levels but there will still be really creative, thought out levels.
