Still playing Hyrule Warriors (I’m hoping to 100% by the time Mario Tennis Aces comes out but we’ll see). I just beat the Story/Legends mode; the main part anyways. Now I’m playing all of the side legend missions with Cia and Linkle. Linkle is a god damn beast. She’s good at everything.
Cia is OK. She has a really good combo for taking keeps but that’s about it. 
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection actually feels pretty good to play with the Pro Controller. I’ll probably still pick up a sick button pad since I’m used to play SF with that or perhaps a stick. For all of Capcom’s many faults, this is a fine collection.
So I’m playing adventure mode now In Hyrule Warriors and HOLY SHIT I love the item card shop. It’s making the adventure maps a breeze. Easily the best addition to this version of Hyrule Warriors. I no longer have to grind for fucking compasses, power bracelets and bombs? Thank Fuck

just downloaded Mario Tennis today, gonna check out the demo after work

This actually goes more into what to expect from Lets Go
So yeah no battling wild pokemon and theres a bit more influences from Go than the trailer lets on. You still battle trainers. The way how experience is earned isnt finalized yet.
Damn, Mario Aces is pretty damn fun. I may have to snag this game…
Pokemon Let’s Go looks more and more like a hard pass.
The minute I saw the wild battles were replaced for Go style ball throwing, it was one for me.
The only reason you remove it, as annoying as those battles could be would be to de-emphasize combat. Throw in the rumored lack of online battle or trade features, which sadly makes sense since this is connecting so much to Pokemon Go, and you have what is likely to be a very good Pokemon-lite game but not exactly the meaty collection RPG many were hoping to get.
Mario Tennis is legit. I’m gonna have to buy it.
It’s fun but did you play online at all? The netcode was pretty bad. They use delay based netcode and it was pretty bad for me when I tried it. Some of the mechanics are kind of weird too. I felt I was on the star multiple times and pressed R but it didn’t do the shot for me and I just got hit by the ball.

I prefer Recalbox actually but, yeah.
I didn’t need to wait for Let’s Go to get my nephew into Pokemon. He’s having a blast with Pokemon Quest.

Finally beat all of Linkles levels in Hyrule Warriors so now I can do all the Wind Waker Levels. Totes excited. I just wish Tetra and King of the Red Lions were actually good characters. Their levels are hard because they suck so much.
Back to Adventure Mode in Hyrule Warriors and I’m super pissed. I have 2 scenarios unlocked that if I A Rank them I unlock new weapons for Link and Linkle. Well on each attempt of those stages I was one KO away from A-Ranking the scenario. I’m so beyond mad. I’ll try again later or tomorrow after I cool off.
I won’t be 100%ing this by the time mario tennis Aces comes out. Not even remotely.
I’m slowly compiling my tier list for Hyrule Warriors as well. It’ll take some time
