Water stages are only fun when you have a means to defy the water physics. A vehicle of some sort and no limits.
When was the last good Super Mario Water stage?
sheeeeit, I remember Donkey Kong Country’s water stage had some of the best background music of all time… I still have that shit in my music collection today.

The last good mario water stage? Hmmmm…The best one imo is probably Dire Dire Docks.
As for last good one? Probably would have to be the water stages in super mario 3d world. Those are were pretty fun. Lake Kingdom in Odyssey is ok but I prefer Seaside Kingdom but I’m unsure if it counts since it feels more like a beach level. So yeah 3D World water stages.
Soda Lake is one of my favorite Mario water levels.
Stage 2-3 in super mario land was one of my fave water stages. Of course…you’re in a submarine so…

Exactly which is why I liked it…It plays like a shoot em up…in a water stage.
as for a real water stage, Jolly rogder’s lagoon in Banjo Tooie wasn’t too bad…but what helps is a spell that allows you to breathe under water. Also you do get a sub transformation in that stage which was fun.
I’m loving playing hyrule warriors again. Reunited and it feels so good. :3 I’m going through Legends/Story mode right now and I’m on the ganondorf missions. My Ganondorf is a little underleveled right right (Only level 10 i think) so some of the missions are actually kinda hard. I’m on a mission where you have to defeat zelda and link at the same time or they revive themselves over and over again. it can be tough, plus there are elemental weaknesses in th game and ganondorf is dark element and link and zelda are light element which he;'s weak against so he takes double damage.
I could level up my ganondorf through using my rupees but I’m saving my rupees for adventure mode since you can buy items now instead of grinding out the map (thank fuck)

Bought Bloodstained Curse of the Moon a few days ago. Played up to stage two a few hours ago. Man, this is like Castlevania 3 excpect I can switch characters at the touch of a button! Miriam is basically a Belmont with the whip and being able to slide.

Hard pass on the Let’s Go titles and Pokémon Quest. I’ll wait for gen 9 to come out next year. Or whatever gen we’re on. Fuck I’m old.

My nephew is becoming a fan of pokemon. I could use Let’s Go to get him into it.
Pokemon Let’s Go actually doesn’t look nearly as bad as I was expecting it too mechanics wise from the rumor. The only real thing it borrows from Go is the Pokeball throw. Everything else seems supplemental and the connectivity stuff is actually going to be beneficial for both games. Plus I believe this is the first time that you’ll be able to couch co-op a Pokemon game. I’m pretty sure this game is going to destroy the holidays.

It’s said that the pokemon game is not the main one. Let’s go is just an extension of the smartphone game.
sheeeit, the only Pokemon game that matters worth a damn to me is still Pokken. I still can’t get enough of that.
…still working on Hyrule Warriors at the moment, and Curse of the Moon is next up very soon…there’s so much good stuff out that I’m interested in at the moment, things are actually TOO good right now in the industry, imo…a nice “problem” to have, obviously. Then we got Vampyr coming next week on the other systems (*ohhhhhh if only THAT came to Switch as well! I’m not sure my heart could handle such hype if that scenario came to pass)

Had the same conversation with my brother. Granted this appeals to the Go community but hey if it let’s them jump into the main Pokemon titles later i’m gravy with it. Already saw my son eyeing my old Pokemon X 3DS already for future game use.
