The Nintendo Switch Thread! - Deadly Premonition 2: Blessing in Disguise 7/10 - Paper Mario: The Origami King 7/17

Nintendo stealth dropped two new costumes in Super Mario Odyssey. Just fire the game up and they are already in the shop.

Yeah, went ahead and got Mario + Rabbids, haven’t got the chance to play it but will try to start it up at least before the weekend.

Bday was over the weekend, came up on 3 games. Family got me Pokken. Then I had $20 on eshop, and a homie and his girl gave me $20, so was able to snag ARMS digitally for like $2 out of pocket. Then 2 more homies gave me another $40 total, and I put that towards Bayo 2 which only cost me $10 of pocket. Big hype

Happy belated and good haul.

Thanks man. I been going hard for multiplayer games, so these haul was perfect.

So according to this, everyone with a 3rd party dock should stop using it ASAP
That with the 5.0 firmware update, 3rd party docks are bricking consoles.

Yeah, that’s why I tend to stick to officially licensed hardware and accessories.

I don’t know why you would buy a 3rd party dock anyways. Sure a second dock can be expensive but it’s better than running the risk of damaging your battery, plug ins or now bricking your system.

I just feel bad for average consumers that are told by sales people there isn’t a difference probably months ago and are now screwed.

Debating if I should buy Kirby for my flights I have Friday/Monday. It’s only an hour each way though lol. I’m going to be flying again in May to the Bahamas so that is a little longer, but I plan on playing DKC on those flights.

This makes me scared now. I’m used a 3rd party ethernet adapter that I had laying around. Even though my friend suggested I cop the official Hori one. I might just outta fear. I usually never buy 3rd party hardware accessories due to faulty experiences with them. This same adapter crapped out on my wii u after maybe a month

I ended up playing Celeste on my flights last week. Highly recommend.

3rd party ether net adapter shouldnt brick anything since its not really pumping power to the system. That would have to be super shoddy for an ether net adapter to brick anything. Shoddy enough that whoever made it probably shouldnt make anything electronic ever again.

The Switch version of Dragon Quest XI is being delayed. It needs to use an updated version of the Unreal Engine

So on par with the course.

I remember that Donkey Kong 64 has a huge bug that causes it to crash, and the only fix was to include the n64 expansion ram pack with every copy of the game (and Rare had to do it at their own expense).
