The games that immediately come to mind are Disgaea, Luminous Arc 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, FF4, Dragon Quest 5, The World Ends with You, and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner. Out of all those, TWEWY is the best (although not your typical RPG). Disgaea has the most depth, but I found it inferior to the PS2 version (mostly because of the awfully low framerate and lack of VA), and Luminous Arc 2 is pretty fun (very basic SRPG, but very satisfying).
On a completely different note, I’m playing AAI, and I’m just not feeling it. It’s fun being back in the Phoenix Wright universe, but it’s just not as awesome as I remember the 1st and 3rd Phoenix Wright game being. Maybe it’s because I’m still early on in the game (in the middle of the second case), or maybe it’s because I’m getting old and jaded.
So if I import a DSi XL from europe, will I have any issues playing american games? Cause I still see no release date for the XL and my DS lite is fucked.
It’s alright. The game is vague on where you should go at certain times. That was my only real gripe.
It’s really cheap, like $10-15 new on ebay. I’d suggest it.
DSi XL launch colors: Burgundy and Bronze. Will come pre-loaded with DSiWare: Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters and BA Express: Math, Photo Clock, DSi Browser and Flipnote Studios.
So I decided to go with DQM:J. After coming to grips with the combat system, I’m really digging it. SHITTON of customization and a great fusion system.
