The soundtrack for WOZ sounds very FFT-like (fucking awesome).
If you have a DSi, Dragon Quest Wars for DSiWare is out today, only 500 pts. Its grid based strategy DQ, I think I heard Intelligent Systems worked on this.
I ordered The World Ends With You from Amazon, and going out at midnight to pick up Kingdom Hearts. Whoo whoo!
I picked that up today and it plays a lot like chess. The six monsters all have different abilities and it has a pretty heavy emphasis on formation.
It also has online multiplayer, which is a nice touch.
Yeah, I was playing it, but I have such a gigantic backlog of games to beat that I only did a few of the tutorial levels. Its less like a strategy sim and more like chess, you’re right.

Because the main character has no character development. And the rest of the cast has little to none. It’s run around, grind, get something, grind, run around, grind.
I am a huge DQ fan but DQiv was probably the least favorite I played.
I’m still town on whether to buy a DSi or DS Lite. 
I say DSi if you can live without flash cards.
all the stuff the DSi adds I don’t care about but the only games I care about on GBA are getting phased out next year (Pokemon and Golden Sun)

I also say DSi because there will be DSi specific games in the future. The DSi has 4x more RAM and twice the processing power, if I recall, so those DSi specific games will definitely not work on the DS Lite.
I went ahead and bought a black DSi. I pretty much did it for the reasons people have posted. I thought long term.
Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver finish the DS line of pokemon games (effectively replacing FireRed and LeafGreen) and a new pokemon game will come out as a DSi exclusive (w/ new pokemon. it’s the only logical outcome)
And Golden Sun is being remade for the DS (as I’m sure Golden Sun 2 will be remade as well)
Not to mention the DSi exclusive games as I mentioned in pokemon which will be coming probably q2 of next year.
Everything else I don’t really care about.
Don’t care that it can play MP3’s, so can my phone and ipod and better.
I don’t care about the 2 camera’s or wifi either.
Are there any must have games coming out for the DSI? Because the only reason I would see to get one is if the made one of these games.
1)A new 2-D side scrolling Mario
2) A new 2.5D side scrolling sonic game
3) If they was to some way some how realease Chrono Cross for it. Other wise, I’d be chilling with my Onyx DS lite for the time being.
Currently playing Sonic Chronicles. Just got it this monday.Its a pretty good game and I can’t put it down. Just seems to be a tad on the easy side.
Got FFIII also. About to start that soon.
Any must have for the DS? RPGs, side scrollers and action adventure games are my thing.

That reminds me I still need to get my DSLite fixed, there’s no way I’m gonna miss out on a new Golden Sun game whether it’d be a remake or brand spankin’ new… time to go fill out some apps :lol:
