Hey ArcadeFire could you do a movelist breakdown of Mr.Big? DA GAME has read from other boards that Big is better than his KOF 96 version

NOTEMr. Big’s crouching C serves as his sweep (his crouching D does not knock
down. Think Makoto from SF3)

1. CHOPSTICK: Mr. Big swings one stick upward, then the other downward. The
move will only hit once on its own, then Mr. Big slides back. If canceled
into, both hits will connect. This move has pretty short range however.

2. STAB STICK: Mr. Big pauses a moment, then stabs forward with one baton.
This is essentially his CD attack from KOF’96. This move won’t combo from
normal attacks.

1. GROUND BLASTER: Short ranged ground level projectile that knocks down. You
can’t seem to combo into this move from normal attacks. Move is SCable.
You can SC this move, but only before the projectile launches, so it’s
only useful as a feint.

2. CRAZY DRUM: Mr. Big steps forward while swinging his sticks repeatedly.
The move now knocks down. D version does more hits and goes further, but
the move’s hitting range is still pretty short. There is a short pause
during the D version, during which Mr. Big seems to be invincible. You
can tap the button used to increase the number of hits Mr. Big does before
he does the last knockdown hit.

3. CALIFORNIAN ROMANCE: Uppercut move. A is performed standing still, while
Mr. Big dashes forward before launching the uppercut for the C version. C
version is SCable on the 3rd hit, and any of the 3 DMs will combo.

4. CROSS DIVING: Mr. Big dives forward with his batons extended. This move
knocks down and can avoid low attacks.

5. SPINNING LANCER: Mr. Big spins while holding out his sticks. BD spins more
times and goes further. The move only does one hit (unless used up close
where it will hit twice), and knocks down. He no longer stabs forward at
the end of the move unlike KOF’96 (it’s now his Stab Stick). Mr. Big is
immune to high and mid-level attacks at the start of this move. You can
move Mr. Big back and forth during this move. Abuse Abuse Abuse.

6. BLASTER WAVE: Short ranged projectile similar to Benimaru’s Raikou Ken.
The move can negate normal/DM projectiles, but cannot hit an opponent who
is very close to Mr. Big and inside the range of the ball lightning.

7. DRUM SHOT TYPHOON: Mr. Big rushes forward with an autocombo attack using
his sticks.

8. RAGING SPEAR: Mr. Big reaches out with his batons (this is unblockable).
If it hits, he throws opponent high up, and catches them upon landing with
his batons and stabs opponent rapidly before slamming them to the
ground. This move comes out pretty quickly, and can be chained into.

Basicly Mr. Big is kinda like Chun in 3S. He can just Cr. D into ANY of his supers. Just whore his Spinning Lancer move and you’ll be good. Cr. A is a deadly poke.

^ Eih…I stopped using Rock a while ago since I was just whoring his special D.Assualt all the time. I’ve gone back to Neo-Dio…dunno who to pair him with though.

Shermie and Dio works.

But Rockaway is god.

^ I already use Shermie with Shiki(Since she builds meter fast too) I’ll probably stick him with Tung or Nakoruru.

Uh, does anyone here know how to play K’? My friend just got the game and I wanted to play with K’ for a while now. My secondary would probably be Terry or Iori. Would this help?

I play with K’ a lil. I’ll give you some stuff to start out.

You can do the B&B from KOF XI in this game with him, which is:

(cr. a)x2, f + b xx qcb k. Crap damage, but hey, take what you can get right?

Also, learn to combo his Heaven’s Drive super from low pokes.

You can combo minutes spike from an air hit, gives you a free knockdown while in the air.

Also, this combo maybe of some help to you:

st. c xx C crow bites xx heat drive, tk’ed minutes spike. If someone whiffs big, then you can punish with this.

Well that’s a lil bit of stuff, hope this helps in anyway.

Just got the game. Yeah, Shermie Carnival’s still pretty much fancy/corner stuff, the electric knee’s so much more utilitarian.

Is the Shermie Cute (stomp followup from the Spiral and other command grabs) still :qcf: :k:? Am I just doing it wrong or is there some timing issue with the PS2 version?

^ 4neqs: Yeap it’s still QCF+K after a grab move. I’ve never had issues with it before.

Same motion. It is really great after her hcb + C counter grab, then the follow up, then the stomp.

At any case, I wonder how come you cant do her DA after the c+b, f+b. I try so much but it ain’t working…
