I think Yuda’s dam super is slowed down (is it just the voice sample being slowed down or the move itself? I’m not sure). Yuda’s DP+A uppercut helper also has a slightly different angle of attack (seems to come out further in front), and some of his old CD combos from arcade don’t work as well against certain characters as a result.
It changes not just some CD combos but also some dribble/hyakus setups as well, actually it’s quite a big change for a high level Yuda. Thouther has also a few differences, on ps2 the speed up super is nerfed but he gains a boost free 3 star into fko corner combo with the qcf moves JI star removal (on arcade it works only on spears and qcb fireball). Also Shin lost the muteking glitch on ps2.

Interesting, I didn’t know this. How is it nerfed exactly? I can do the Speed Up spear loops, but I never got down comboing into another one using the same super. Not possible on the PS2?

Actually you would be blowing the money just to TRY your chance at the lottery to get into the last chance quals. Then if you’re a lucky one proceed to fail to the hungry players that failed at their regional quals.

Well even if you don’t get to enter SBO, you can still play japan top players at TRF in one of their bi-weekly touneys.
As for attending SBO last chance, if i get my leave i should be there, too bad the chances are very low :sad:
Some moves take more bar on ps2 than on arcade, it makes Hige style speed up okizeme not as good. For doing spear loop > speed up super > spear loop you can still do it on ps2 but IMO it’s quite useless, it’s just a show off combo.
Arcade is definitely the way to go, glad I was able to get it on release with my cabinet.
