I play souther, am maybe decent, and can own the CPU on hardest difficulty. Kenoh is not hard.
Strangely the only character my souther has a problem with is friggin’ Mr.Heart! That fat bastard can score one good throw or super and my Souther is nearly toast! Not unusual for me to kick everyone’s ass with moderate effort, only to get beat by Heart 6-8 times in a row because the CPU managed to score a few moves on me. So many instances where i was on the verge of victory, and the cpu SOMEHOW caught me in a super and it was OVER.
Even Kenoh(Roah) CPU on hardest does not present the challenge Mr.Hart does.

I thought Toki & Rei were in a tier by themselves. And then Raoh was in the next tier down. Really, Toki should almost be in a tier by himself.
Yeah, Juda is more complete in terms of possibilities. Heart kills everyone with one super from a 2B.

I play like 30 matches agaist a friend last night he had never touched the game before, and he started pissin me off, that he is always catching me with CD then he boosts and smacks me in the corner how can i avoid that or are CDs just that damm good. also i noticed that its very hard to retaliate once you crounching and blocking a string of pokes :annoy:
today i found out you can press 6+CD when guarding to break that crap:annoy: if i known that sooner then i wouldnt be getting traped blocking strings of attacks.:annoy:
hey guys am really liking this game, any tips for landgin Cds, and tips for guarding.
I use Rei by the way, second thouther and last Raoh:sweat:
to guarantee a CD you can fully hold it as they wake up so long they have no super bar. If the person you are playing against is not used to seeing it you can use it inbetween some block strings. But ultimately the most likely way to get CD to hit will be to fist cancel (kara) into it.

Too bad ARC SYSTEM WORKS didn’t find out about those buggy combos before the release.
I don’t like fighting against Mr.Hearts…the character that I use is Rei!:wgrin:
Yeah, to reiterate what everyone already knows, the game would be much better without all the basketball combos. But then Raoh would really be like #1 in tiers, so his sai loop would have to terminate somewhere. I guess Juda’s wall-to-wall mess and Rei’s chest-pump etc. can be considered “basketball” as well though.
Can anyone explain the idea behind dribble combos please? Not sure if that’s the correct term but I’m on about the ones that end with 2B, 2B, 2B…etc.
I use Rei and so far I’ve got (excuse the notation, kinda new at this):
2D, j.IAD, j.C, 5C, j.IAD, j.A, j.C, 623A, 2369C, 9C, 5A, 5C, 236236A, 2B…
Only ever tried it on Raoh on training mode though.
Has anyone got any simple corner ones I can try?
Also, what would be a example of a basketball combo?
