or… does anyone know where I can pick up an attachable tv for my slim ps2?
What i do is knock of all his stars in the first round, since taking all his stars off will trigger the resurrection.
So i beat him once, in the next stage he only has maybe 1 star left. Once i take the last star off at the begining, he uses up his resurrection move, then i just beat him a second time. Its done.
ok…I tried using that damn slide card thing on my first ps2 and i fucked it up big time.
Yeah that slide card is total piece of shit, and you have to swap discs anyway for it to work! Might as well use the flip-top method instead. I have not used it myself but I’d imagine it is a hell of a lot more convenient, than screwing with the PS2 drive mechanisms each time you want to play.
Flip-top > Slide card
slide card, unless you get lucky and are really good at it, sucks.
ruins your tray, can fuck up your laser, horrible way.

On the other hand, NYC Hokuto no Ken gathering tomorrow (Wednesday) @ Kongman. If you are interested in it just come over to Kongman around 6pm you find some HnK geeks playing there.

Oh yeah, I saw the AI perform a glitch yesterday randomly, not sure if it’s known. Rei was on the left side of the screen near the corner, then jumped out and boosted rapidly, then suddenly was stuck hanging on the left wall. Looked similar to Shin’s backflip boost glitch.
Might be worth looking into to see if it’s human doable. Unfortunately I wasn’t recording at the time, he may have boosted a specific move in the air to do it. :I
I broke the damn slide card off in my tray…and then it closed it’s self crooked!!! But now that I have slimline I guess it will be easier to paly imports.
i was thinking of starting an HNK tourney at east, unless someone else want s to run it since i really am no good at running such things =/

This is hard to do in Mania Mode when he opens the industrial strength Whoop Ass after resurrecting, but I won’t stop trying! :looney:
Using kenshiro is good, for some reason the computer never blocks his: Fireball-motion+Hp move, that takes off a star.
Its easy to corner kenoh, do a crouching low-kick twice to hold him in place, and then nail him with the move. Thats how i take off most of his stars.
I’m already running one at Evo East, I just don’t know if it’ll be on a Friday or a Saturday.
I vote for Saturday!!! I finish all my finals on Friday so…
