AFAIK that super business isn’t true anyway but I’ll check it when I go home. Generally, it’s not possible to even do something like 236236C+E because same-frame button presses with Boost makes you boost the startup of the move. You can’t boost the startup of supers other than 1 that I know of. You pretty much have to do E~C to Pre-boost instead.
I’d be wary of trusting the input display at the button as well because if it’s anything like GG, it only creates a new button block if the difference in timing is 1/30th or slower. Meaning if you roll E~C, it might display that you hit the buttons on the same frame even if you didn’t.
As to making supers go off faster, the only thing I know about related to that is hit-pause canceling with boost, which lets you move while the other person is frozen due to hit-pause. That doesn’t work from neutral though.
OMG, you are just one frame away from hitting TOKI!!!
Toki’s Sekkakou take 55 frames to finish from the beginning to the end. Toki’s Sekkakou freezes time on frame 8, lasts till frame 42. So he has 13F recovery.
Shin’s 236236C takes 33 frames to execute. Freezes time on frame 11, lasts till frame 31. 31 - 11 = 20 = total freeze time. 33 - 20 = 13!!! Raishinsho takes 13F to start. Sigh…
You should do Shin’s 214214C instead, it takes only 3 frames to start and has 40 frames of invincibility!!!
Good enough to do .
I recommend IAD jB land > command grab here. I often forget to do that but it’s good against opp who like to attack right away after IAD jB.
Too many ppl traumatized in SRK… No, I am an anti scrub-ist. A win is a win, a lose is a lose. There is no scrub in between. I don’t care you play fighting game for 10yrs or 1 min. You beat me that’s your skill, you lose you are always welcomed back for more.
If that’s not clear enough from now on I will call you great master laugh if that make you feel better. If you are still not happy about it just tell me what to do that will make you more comfortable.
214A/214214C anti air, 214B/236236B against ground attacks… Again, no perfect all around solution here. Anticipation is the key. Another obvious thing is, don’t get knocked down or cornered in the first place. For god’s sake you already have tons of options with counters, supers etc. I don’t see any problems here from my point of view. Just make your decision quick and stick with it that’s all. 214A/214B counters hurt like hell. If you use Shin versus Rei you will know what is retarded when Shin trapped in the corner without aura gauge:looney:
Well I checked again last night anyway and yeah it’s impossible to do 236236C+E or anything like that with supers. Supers are simply not startup-boostable unless there is a glitch there or it’s specific to certain supers. You have to do E~C to Pre-boost it.
Heheh, now I have one more reason to attend Evo East, I hope Mr. Mamation and Gwyrgyn Blood will come too. I am ready to get my butt kicked:rofl: That’s going to be a lot of match videos, yumyum. Sorry to be arrogant, NO ONE CAN STOP ME IN NYC NOW, I want more challenge!!! (Nohoho pointing from behind: I just kicked your butt with Jagi three days ago:looney: )
I’d like to start playing people in nyc or northern jersey for casual matches, preferrably console. I’m not a good player, but it would be nice to play w/ people who share the same enthusiasm.
Ille play you in HNK been looking for people to play against. Though im a pad player. Ille see whats up ive been looking for people in nyc to play against.
I was playing against a friend’s Heart, and after he did his big throw super on me, I had blue shadows following me the rest of the round (like I had activated A-groove or something.) I’m not sure exactly what caused it but on wakeup, he did light earth crush and I did Senshuryugeki. It happened a couple of times…here is a vid of the first time we ran into it:
