I love this game, but that is just ridiculous that that can be done.
Really it’s the same bug as all of the other infinite bounce bugs, it’s just a newerish setup and a faster way to bounce them (instead of the really high bounces with jump attacks). Faster infinites are better infinites … I guess. -_-
How do you set them up to bounce like that though? Does the gravity need to reach a certain level? Or is it just height that determines the bounce?
Anyone mentioned that if you reach a certain height you get auto guard break? like if your character waist is by the opponent head I think.

Try it out put the computer on all guard and jump, and punch him when hes about to land, it will go through…I know its not just on practice mode I did it in arcade…I’ll test it on a human controlled opponent now, Yup it works.
Hah its funny when you jump block in the corner Rei C will connect no matter the height of a normal jump(but you got to be near him)maybe its hitting him from underneath?, also funny is the guard animation will begin but they will still get hit.
i dunno if the programmers just decided that after 33 hits they can be hit otg forever or what. They may have missed something somewhere and decided to keep it =p
That’s not really an auto guard break. It’s just that to air-guard against ground based normal attacks you have to Aura Guard (block + use boost button).
Edit: Oops, yep. I mean, the Rei C thing is because you have to hold boost and aura guard to block a ground normal. But as for the first part on your unblockable thing…
Jumping takes a certain amount of frames to do. During these frames when you are attempting to jump but not airborne yet, you are vulnerable to being hit by anything. If I’m reading correctly that’s what’s happening. The reason it only happens when they land is because they’re attempting to rejump and you’re hitting them during the jump startup.
So let me get this straight in order to block ground attacks in the air you have to block and hold boost? this also stop block damage?Yes?
More likely they were too damn lazy to fix it
