I played this a bit tonight at the arcade…was damn fun but I only got like 15 matches in. Jagi isn’t as bad as I thought but man he gets so randomed out by random BS.
Quick question…I’ve figured pretty much everything out with Jagi by trial and error but…does the dude have ANY decent anti-air other than mashing c.A or f.A? Everything else has been too slow/has no invuln/bad hitbox etc…

He’s good but you needa control the space between you and your opponent to avoid getting rushed. He’s got some wierd 2P Side only benefits.
I was talking about this a few pages back.
Even when the opponent does not jump, it randomly happens in a middle of a match when the opponent does nothing.
It’s like they kara into nothing.
I thought it was just the disc I had, but played it on my friend’s copy and during an actual match I notice the whiff about twice in one round. Even my friend tried out and asked me what I was trying to cancel into.

For Jagi’s anti air, Jump A! Of course you don’t use it in every situation, but still it’s pretty good. Well, you need it to punish Shin’s 623B on block:) Then see how GX’s Jagi deal with Souther’s cornered air 214A trap:

Ah see I was doing that too…like evasive stuff but I guess I’m just used to other fighters where there is usually very solid anti-air. HnK definitely puts it’s emphasis elsewhere for defense, I’ll just have to adapt! Thanks for the vids though
