Just for you, I’m gonna run down EVERY SINGLE thing that tip page brought up.
[details=Spoiler]Ancient Gear - Okay at best, even in its archetype.
Bamboo Sword - Again, okay at best, and there’s a reason Bamboo Swords haven’t been run in years. This would only make the engine slightly more consistent, at the cost of taking up more slots.
Blue-Eyes - I really shouldn’t have to say how bad Burst Stream of Destruction is.
Burning Abyss - One of the few good interactions, but you have to run otherwise dead cards to make use of it.
Buster Blader - It’s alright
Predplants - Worse Poly
Cubic - Already mentioned it’s one of the few good interactions. Cubics have broken interactions with the card.
Dark Magician - Waste of Magician Navigation
Darklords - Deck goes deep enough as it is. Would only help in a winmore scenario (when you already have Darklords out)
Fluffals - Again, already mentioned (though it’s arguable if they can even find space for it with how absurdly consisten the deck will already be)
Cardians - Only Okay, exacerbated by Cardians being bad.
Gem-Knights - Good interaction, because Gem-Knights DESPERATELY need to get into Fusion to not auto lose, and even then they need another Gem-Knight in grave.
Glad-Beasts - Terrible Synergy
Junk - NO
Lunalight - Solid, due to the card itself being solid.
Monarchs - This would probably be the only reason the deck is playable right now.
Naturia - Bad
Nekroz - Good interaction, though Dimensional Barrier will need to be banned before it’s even relevant.
Paleozoic - Would be good…if they didn’t already have Marella. They don’t need a vanilla dumper on top of that.
Psy-Frames - Good and bad. Good because searching Psy-Frames is good. Bad because the deck really can’t afford to give up Overloads.
Raidraptors - Bad because Necro Vulture is bad and Raid Force is bad.
Shaddolls - Not what they need at all.
Spellbooks - Bad, only mildly useful for Master but you’re Spellbooks, you can search what you want anyway.
Phantom Knights - Potentially solid, will need testing.
UAs - I already know it’s great here.
Volcanics - Basically just Raigeki with burn while wasting a valuable Reload. Volcanics have a whole suite of other issues.
Metalfoes Fusion - Pseudo-Upstart is ok, but drawing into Fusion is GODAWFUL.
Breakthrough/Galaxy Cyclone - Already mentioned. [/details]
I’d say half of those interactions are solid, and a grand total of zero of them are game changing. Don’t you EVER fucking lecture me on “creative” deck design though. Just don’t.
