I hate these erratas, since they usually make the card unplayable, and half of them have been power-creeped anyways.
If any of ya’ll have Dark Destroyers, I’d get rid of them…now.
That card is tanking like crazy. I think its sitting at $70 right now. Also get rid of Ghost Ogres and Farmgirls ASAP.
At this point im expecting E Tele to go to 1 and a specific Kozmo hit coming.
E-Tele was skating on thin ice to begin with but yeah, it’s GUARANTEED to go to 1 now.

Unless Maxx C is super easy to get, I dont think itll effect the other prints too badly.
And why would Eye of Timaeus go up? Something new coming out that needs it?
It won’t affect other prints, but more availability is big.
And because DM support in The Dark Illusion including not one but two cards that can search it out…along with every other piece of DM support in history. The Eye has gone up to $55 already. Dat easy Turn 1 Dark Paladin too hard to pass up.

Mystical Refpanel, extra Majesty’s/Vanity’s Fiend. Things of that sort.
Super Quantums havent gotten their full support yet. its still not complete.

They are pushing psychics right now so I dont see them hitting the best psychic card until after worlds.

“Super Quantums haven’t gotten their full support yet” - Actually it’s more than likely the case that they have. It’s the only one of the three archetypes in Wing Raiders with no Anime Character using them (and Phantom Knights, its user is currently indisposed) and as of now there’s no support coming for it in both Shining Victory and The Dark Illusion, nor Premium Gold, the next structure, nothing. At most they may get one or two tech cards but all signs point to the archetype being pretty much done until they feel like bringing in random legacy support. It was just an archetype to help fill the rest of Wing Raiders.
“Kozmos aren’t done” - Shining Victory will be their last set.
“They’re pushing Psychics” - They’re barely pushing Psychics. The goal for Kozmos is to get them to a state where they will no longer need Emergency Teleport. The way they did that was taking them away from Farmgirl or die. For the most part they have accomplished that. While E-Tele is definitely the best card in the deck, the deck has evolved enough to still go a decent work rate without the card and is just randomly sacky with it. On top of that, while E-Tele usage in SQs was certainly planned they likely are not amused by SQs taking over as the tribute engine in Monarchs now.
“Doesn’t make sense due to Psychics issues” - Yeah it does. Because while psychics have been shit for plenty long, E-Tele is still always borderline due to the absurd interactions it tends to have. They let E-Tele rock to sell Kozmos and that deck certainly needed it to get anywhere but now they no longer have to rely on it and it’s solely just a sacky power card to them rather than simply Farmgirl 4-6.
On top of all of this when they make this many consecutive reprints of a card, a hit is coming through. This same exact pattern happened with Vanity’s Emptiness a while back only a bit in reverse. Reprinted in Premium Gold, then reprinted in Secret Forces, got limited almost immediately afterwards. This is their pattern. If something relatively powerful in the meta is seeing an excess of reprints there is a near guarantee of some type of hit happening in the near future.
Judging a tourney today brought me to an interesting question: what tier level would all of you consider Mermails to be?
I hope you mean Atlanteans. The only Mermail they should be running is Megalo. And a solid Tier 2, nothing more. They have immense explosive power, but one Diva takes away the consistency of just ending opponent’s lives on Turn 1, they struggle immensely against Kozmo and if the game makes it past a couple of turns they’re up shit creek.
