Question about the meta. With more and more pendulum based play, I’m seeing people using x-saber paulomuro and Naturia Beast for 1 turn plays against pendulum decks. I know for certain that I want to keep playing OEM and PePe, and BOSH is just around the corner. So is playing Nat Beast even worth it? Or is the pepe support coming from BOSH not even worth it?

…Uh, yet again, the PePe support from BOSH turns it into a Tier 0 deck. Not a Tier 1 deck, TIER 0. Yeah, it’s worth it. And Nat Beast, if you can get it out is also worth it because it completely stops the opponent from playing the game.
That’s not a joke. That’s actually happening. As for why that over the obvious choice in Glow-Up Bulb, it’s because Palomuro is more readily searchable.
I know it’s not a joke. I actually faced a guy this morning who used it. I’m just confused as to why they would want to use a Glow Up Bulb with Burn cost especially when people are playing decks that can nip that combo in the bud or punish you from attempting the combo i.e FMD, Maxx C, Abyss Dweller, etc.
Because Naturia Beast is that good right now.
Playing first turn naturia beast will make pendulum players rage quit.
Pendulum monsters are spells when their activated or put into the pendulum zones so naturia beast handles those decks with ease.

It takes more than simple access to Naturia Beast to win this format. Otherwise I’d still be running Raccoons.
Unless you drop beast turn zero I don’t see how he matters. And with solemn notice at 3, the outs are so easy when bosh hits. I think you guys are super overspeculating.
We’re not overspeculating anything. I’m talking about the format RIGHT NOW. After BOSH, there’s nothing you do that matters. If you aren’t playing PePe you honestly shouldn’t play the game because it’s pointless.
