Well you don’t really need to gather that old school Blue Eyes support. Even White Stone gets power creeped. Just get the old structure and that will cover you.

Man, I can’t figure out what extra deck to use in Pepe, because I know they do a lot of Rank 4 spam, the problem is that we don’t have Utopia the Lightning or Outer God Nyarla, or the other one. Right now the only cards I can think to include in my extra are:

Throw in another Castel and call it a day. Or a Norden/IF engine.
I’d say replace Dire Wolf with Castel or something more useful. Popping a card by destroying yours could help your opponent rather than harm them depending on what they play and you don’t want that.
Elder Entity Norden? And IF? I guess so, I don’t know how I can make Norden O.o I haven’t studied up on the pepe deck yet. And I already have a Castel, run 2 castle instead of a diamond dire.
Yeah but when it comes to PePe deck, clearing a space in your Monster Zone is actually useful.
I hate PePe. I judged at the regionals in Madison last weekend and it was basically 80% of all decks.
I’ll start playing competitively when Shining Victories comes out; want to play Blue-Eyes so bad.
I hated it until Round 9 of Philly Regionals. I’ll remember that turn 1 forever.
OCG making sure the ban hammer stays strong.
Banning Juggler, Plushfire, and shock master was a good move. Now just ban wavering eyes for both metas.
I’m new the scene competitively, so I don’t know what most staples are, or how most decks run. When I was younger, I never played or attempted to play yugioh at this level. I didn’t know about synergy and making my decks run on an engine etc. So I’m going to ask a lot of…relatively stupid questions from time to time. However I’m great at picking things up quickly once I get into it. So there are still quite a few things I’ll sound confused about.
Lol my b I didn’t know. I quit but I want to play semi not seriously again. I thought you have been playing for awhile cause I’ve seen you in here alot and you do lots of live play.
Yeah, I do play alot with the others, I usually get blown out. I kept up with the meta with tidbits of info. I knew about teledad, glad beasts etc. But when synchros were a thing I was in high school. I fell out of yugioh never really got back in. So it’s only now that I’m wading in deep.
Man I feel old synchros weren’t even around yet when I was in high school.

Well…this format isn’t too bad. When Breaker of Shadows hits though…yeah, that’s going to be a NIGHTMARE of a format.
And yes, Stratos still banned and Monarchs are getting a new structure that makes them really strong…if only it mattered by the time it came out.
