The New Yu-Gi-Oh Thread: Construct Joins Stratos in the Halfway House

It wasn’t legitimately allowed in the first place. We just didn’t know the ruling.

And Archfiend Eccentrick will break $50…it’ll just take 5 months to do it. And both Mistaken Arrest and Storming Mirror Force might be able to sneak it depending on hype.

The Secrets in this set remind me a lot of Judgment of the Light. No outright bad ones, one straight money secret (Wolfbark/Eccentrick). Mostly a lot of solid ones and some with amazing potential.

Archfiend Eccentrick should be around $80 at sneak then drop to around $45 in a couple of weeks then the first even a deck tops with it, itll shoot up to $65+

I think Mistaken Arrest wont live up to its true hype/potential. Itll be the classic "high sneak price then drop to a reasonable price) type of card. I cant see it breaking $25.

I hope you guys picked up Wavering Eyes.

Why? It’s a common this set anyway and not short printed. It’ll take 3 seconds to grab a playset.

Oh what? I thought it would be since its actually good. Damn well there goes my investment on the supers.

I mean, Supers are Supers, you might be able to get mildly inflated value on them but even then the Supers that are in special editions rarely if ever fetch for a high price.

So my friend decided to grab someone’s deck and enter a tournament. Said Yu Gi Oh is easy. Priceless. It was the equivalent to when people say “Fighting games are easy”, and just mash every button with the odd random dp coming out.

Uh…how’d he do?

And also considering making a Force of Will thread but I doubt it’ll get much traction.

2 games lasted like 15 minutes.

Lol yu gi oh is easy as hell

Look up the best deck and roll with it. Its not hard at all.

Well to be fair they weren’t his cards, but he seemed clueless lol.

It’s only easy if you know how the game works. If you don’t, then it’s hard. Even the most simple fighting game makes no sense if you haven’t touched fighting games before.

Look up the best deck and roll with it? Only works even on established players, if said deck is helmet. Qliphorts, Helmet. Tellars, Helmet. Nekroz, Shaddolls and BA? Not Helmet (well without Djinn Lock, Nekroz is not Helmet anymore). All of them require careful management of resources. Failure to do that correctly will cost you most games unless you’re facing against trash decks. It’s easy to win with them, but only if you know how to play said decks.

Qliphorts and Tellars on the other hand, a child could figure out how to play them.

I’m kinda nervous about buying two boxes. It’s my first time doing so. We have a sealed deck tournament at the sneak peak this sat. Any cards I should be looking for to make my deck?

For Sealed? Uh, Igknights I guess.

And if you’re nervous, you don’t have to get boxes. You could always default to just getting singles.

Nah. I wanna really get into yugioh now that I actually have a source of income.

Just buy single cards fam…Trust me…

On My first Job is when I was a Senior in HS 11 years back I decided to get into YGO and Couldn’t have come at a perfect time. Invasion of Fucking Chaos aka the Best set before Phantom of Darkness

First check went to 3 boxes and only pulled a Chaos Emperor and 2 DMOC, luckily I was able to win some locals and win packs and pull a BLS and a 3rd DMOC

BTW who had experience on god boxes?

I remember my locals had Champion Pack 2 and my friend was brought 3 packs and all of them inside were foil…So I tried my luck and Bam…We brought at least 30 of them. we split it down. I ended up with 14 Smashing grounds and selling them for 40 a pop(60 is the value but easy selling)

The few boxes I’ve gotten for winning tourneys have been notoriously awful.

Hey what you guys think about Six Sam in this format. Easy Trishula summoning and shit

Eh…

Better than they will be in 3 months at least…

how so?

I’m tech’ing Anti-Spell Fragrance/De-Synchro

Because I imagine Majispecters will run through them.
