I may give Tellars a bump thanks to the Seraphs coming out but we’ll see. Shaddolls are making a comeback since they aren’t screwed by the pincer attack of Nekroz/Qliphorts. And once their Water Fusion drops that matchup becomes a LOT closer to even (though I still get Nekroz the edge, maybe 6-4).
Question is how much is this new Ra card going to cost? People have already shown that they’re willing to drop 200 on one Nekroz card.

Depending on the extra, he could get around $200-$250. Definitely a far cry from when a set of Brio alone ran $390-450.

The problem is ASF is a non-tutorable floodgate. It’s only as good as the deck it’s in.
That and it can be a double edged sword and impede your own gameplay if it isn’t used right.
As a Nekroz player, I can tell you that ASF is not that good a floodgate, and I will simply go after your other set cards. You best play Dust Tornado to support it.
We have a problem.
People are starting to figure out that you can splash the Djinn Lock in a hell of a lot of decks with only a three card investment.
Are any Djinn ritual decks viable now? I’ve been out of the game in a minute, but last time I played despite the lock I didn’t win a lot of matches with my Northwemko deck, but when it worked people got frustrated as hell.

He’s just a tech you have to prepare for like Vanity’s. Only instead of MSTs, you need something to take out a 2300 Defense position monster.
The problem is now…ANY deck that plays Warriors can play Djinn Lock. All you need is one Djinn, Nekroz of Clausolas and Nekroz Cycle.
RotA out Clausolas, ditch it for Cycle, if you have a Djinn ready, Djinn lock.
Dark Synchro, Satellars, HEROs…if you’re playing Triple RotA and can make Rank 4s (for Lavalval Chain)…yeah… If nothing else it’s an annoying Side Deck play but it’s easily mained as well.

Sometimes I still question myself as to why I still play this game. Its stale and the power creep is too real. I always wanted konami to just make one massive ban list that would make the game more refreshing but itll never happen.

The game wouldn’t be any more refreshing. Banning the top only brings up a different top tier. And as much as everyone here seems to adore Goat Format, I can’t stand it. I feel like you lose to more bullshit in Goat Format than you do in this format.
And honestly I was starting to feel the same way, though I think World Superstars bringing a ton of decks up helps. It also doesn’t help that I’m basically in charge of bringing the DBZ CCG up at my locals so my attention is split. I’m starting to get slightly more motivated again though.
