I run a Darkwing Beast deck so Hanzo wouldn’t exactly fit into it.
You should add Hanzo anyway, its the quickest way to bring out Simorgh/Fragrance
It’s the quickest way to Simorgh but getting to Fragrance is an absolute crapshoot. If you don’t draw it in your first hand then it results to nothing.
Whenever this tourney goes down I’m hanzo+mist valley apex. Run a myrmeleo for an additional target. Have call of the haunted on deck to get apex from the gy. 2 Planter for dat card draw.
I’m thinking about teching in mist valley falcon for bouncing dead fiendish chains, transformations, and calls to my hand. May run a seal of orichalchos but not having the extra can be a heavy price. Rather run that mist valley field spell instead.
I’ma probably fuck around with Infernoids or that new Red-Eyes support.

And yes, I play archetypes based on whether I like the card art (and mythology) for them.
It’s why I’m struggling to find a main deck in Force of Will. I love everything in that game when it comes to art and mythology. Seriously, one of the most beautiful card games I’ve ever seen.

I swear people take this shit too seriously. I went to a tourney yesterday afternoon and niggas acting like they’re Marik from Yugioh quoting villain lines every turn they have and calling me any variation of noob that they can. But I’m there thinking “Nigga you’re flowcharting with Six Sam and Shadolls but you want to call my deck noobish? Bitch please.” The best part of it though is when they lose to my so called “noob deck”.

Yeah Qliphorts aren’t that strong anymore so I wouldn’t hang my hat on it as much.
They’re basically as frail as all other Pendulum decks now.
My Darkwing Beast deck. Knocked out his Shi En with my Zerofyne (I just got it and already love the shit out of it) then did my Simorgh/Fragrance combo. I cannot count how long it took while he was cussing me out. LMAO

What’s the new tier list for decks?

- Burning Abyss/Tellars
- Shaddolls/something else
Honestly the gap for 1 and 2 is a big one.
Top - Necroz
Then prayer decks since you’ll need to pray they won’t get trishula out on first turn
DW decks can do decent against necroz however has terrible matchup against other decks(burning fist, shaddolls, etc)
I think the best counter is anti-meta and maybe six samurai with extra shiens
