I put Nekroz were “hurt” but honestly they’re stronger after this list than before it. Vanity’s and Drain to 1 and all they lost was 2 Preps (which for them is just a blowout card rather than a huge necessity) and 1 Brio. And their main rival in Qliphorts got kicked in the nads (not dead of course but they aren’t amused).

Limited Vanity’s Emptiness? That is by far the dumbest decision I have ever seen in my life. That card is the only thing that makes this unbalanced madness fair. Eh.

Shut up. Vanity’s is a broken card that went down the same road that Royal Oppression did. It makes the spammy, combo decks stronger rather than weaker. It’s why the Djinn Lock in Nekroz is so feared (even though it’s far from the strongest move in the deck). Just be happy that unlike it’s ridiculous cousin, Vanity’s is relatively fine at 1.
And I just spent the last 6 hours doing a full proxy of two DBZ decks, helped a friend get a binder from a store and wrote up and did sample hands for a Plant Princess deck. I almost never want to look at anything resembling a card again…except my locals is in 9 hours.

And probably the same reason Bestiari was at 1 for so god damn long. Because it’s probably an inside joke by now.
Its an e hero that has two amazing abilities printed on it. And gets the ability whether it is normal or special summoned.
I personally think that unbanning him is the last step towards making pure heroes playable.

These unbans are great. @Saitsu I thought deeply about the Vanity’s Emptiness ban. I think my thoughts are now: Even though Vanity’s Emptiness was a good card for non-meta decks to stop the meta, it was also a good card for meta decks to stop both other meta decks and anti-meta ones.
So it’s better for it to not be in the game at all.
I feel its a better card than Royal Oppression as you can just get rid of it once you don’t need it. Royal can’t be splashed in whatever deck nowadays.
At 1 Royal Oppression is better. At multiples Vanity’s is better due to the reason you just said.
And note…Vanity’s isn’t banned, just limited.

Anyway, idk if anyone cares but an update on my YGO life.
I head judged an OTS a couple of weeks back. Was brutal.
And I haven’t gotten less than Top 2 at Locals in like two months between Volcanics (won every tourney with it), Ritual Beasts, Burning Abyss and today, back to my Raccoons (unfortunately couldn’t draw Obedience Schooled against the ONE deck I really needed the damn thing).
Also got my card shop into like 3 new games.

And also in other news, at YCS Prague, Nekroz took 24 out of 32 Spots outdoing Tacoma by two spots.
