Pretty much…a lot of the major archtypes now are just so splashable it lets people run stuff like this…TBH I think it’s pretty healthy for the game, since it actually promotes deck building to an extent.

All Vanity’s is, is a win button for every top deck. It’s just Royal Oppression: 2014 Edition.

Well they gave Wind-Ups everything back because I believe they banned Hunter.

We’ll have to see if TCG Land ever decides to follow suit. It’s hard to gauge though since OCG land metas are just that much different.

I hate the way Konami balances this game sometimes. Like, if something can summon like 3 tier 1 monsters and still be plus on your hand, maybe you fucked up and need to rethink the way you made the damn deck

I have beaten them. Raccoons fair decent against them as long as they don’t open broken. Skill Drain is just a pain though.

At the very least I wouldn’t expect too many people to have Qlips built right away. The deck is gonna be EXPENSIVE.

The archetype monsters themselves will probably run you close to $400-500.

Well that’s mostly due to the quantity of what you need than anything.

Both Disk (being Secret) and Tool (Being Ultra and the centerpiece of the deck) I can see running between $40-50. And you need playsets of both. The other maindeck monsters are supers so I can see them hitting around $15-20 and needing playsets of those as well (well, at least 6 combined of the last 3 monsters). If you took the lowest of those prices it’d be $310 at least but with hype and Sneaks, they’re hitting the higher prices if not beyond.

On top of that, you’re gonna need 3 Summoner’s Art. Right now it’s at $20 and that’s before the deck comes out. It’s only been printed in one set ala Vanity’s Emptiness. I can see that price jacking up.

You’ll need 3 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. That’s $25 ea (for the Secret), that’ll probably bump up. Then there’s the need for triple Skill Drain (15 for a playset at the moment that isn’t the Ultra), Vanity’s probably wouldn’t be too bad to have for them as well.

And you still probably need a Rank 4 Extra if you decide to use Trampolynx.

It’s a very expensive deck…and ironically I can’t even state that it’s the best deck.
