I remember the days of early Yugioh in elementary where some dude would summon labyrinth wall and then proceed to bust out a 12 by 12 sheet of paper with his drawing of a maze. JUST LIKE IN THE ANIME.
I’ll still never let that go shit was gold.
Then there was the angry SPED kid with a deck 200 cards high in middle school, then one day the wind blew and all his cards flew out from the 3rd floor of the building and it was raining cards at lunch time. I miss those days rofl
Says the person posting on a site who’s purpose is to help people get better at video games. Not to mention the person who whines when people don’t read the long essays he writes on said video games.
I play aliens-quasar and its been pretty good. All aliens need is a better search card than ohsaleon (when sangan got banned i knew i was never going to win again)
Getting the ammonite synchro combo with ancient ruins in game to quasar felt sooo good
Im surprised they hit abysteuss instead of dragoons. But this is a really good now, its going to be 3 axis fire fist, redox gadgets, evilswarms, and possibly blue eyes in tier 1. Heroes should be king of tier 2.
Blue Eyes won’t be Tier 1. Only chance it had was hitching the Prophecy ride, but Judgment ban killed that.
Evilswarms also won’t be Tier 1 because the only reason it was up high to begin with was due to the meta call against Rulers. The coming format will be more full of Level 4 monsters or a mix that can easily deal with Ophion. So in an ironic twist of fate, by Rulers getting worse, Evilswarms get worse tier wise as a result.
And the deck that could possibly sneak up in all of this is Noble Knights. They get 5 TCG Exclusives in the next set, which is ridiculously absurd (for those who don’t know, there are usually only 10 TCG Exclusives period in each set). And Konami seems to REALLY, and I mean REALLY wants Noble Knights to get big. We’ll see.
Also, 3 Axis Fire Fist takes a hit with Rooster going to 1 right at its TCG release and Tenki going down to 2. The deck won’t be nearly as unrelenting.
Ive seen people duel with one rooster 3 axis and while it doesnt savage like it did its still pretty good. Rekindling is the mvp of thay deck.
And I say evilswarm is tier 1 because konami is trying to promote synchros again but the biggest x factor is bujin. That deck has potential to wreck but it’s too easy to side against. But that deck does destroy evilswarm.
And blue eyes has potential to be the bottom of tier 1 or the top of tier 2.
It’s pretty cool because it has the japanese cards out long before we get them in America…
I could never play this game seriously anymore, but messing around with stuff on DN for free is pretty fun. Glad the new ban list is bring Ritual Art back to 3…Might be what my Herald deck needed…
I’m not saying 3 Axis FF isn’t capable, but it’s not Tier 1 good. Not anymore.
And Konami can promote Synchros all the live long day, it still isn’t going to be the main goal of most decks short of bringing the busted Generic Level 6 Syncs back. Besides, most decks, Synchro loaded or not, WILL have some low Rank Xyz Monsters to fall back on. Zenmaines, Pearl, Maestroke, Paladynamo, Cowboy, and those are just the Xyz Monsters that can deal with Ophion.
And Bujins take a slight hit by Tenki going to 2. While they also get a 3rd Duality, it doesn’t really beat grabbing the headliner of the deck. And Bujins is have Yamato or lose.
