Pretty standard right now, I’ll post a list and a picture.
3x Sapphire Pegasus
3x Cobalt Eagle
3x Ruby Carbuncle
1x Topaz Tiger
2x Summoner Monk
2x Effect Veiler (really, ANY hand trap could go here)
3x Rainbow Ruins
3x Pot of Duality
3x Upstart Goblin
3x Crystal Promise
3x Crystal Blessing
2x Crystal Tree
2x Crystal Release
2x Forbidden Lance
1x Dark Hole
1x Crystal Abundance
2x Pinpoint Guard
1x Compulsory
2x Lightning Chidori
1x Wind-Up Zenmaines
1x Leviair the Sea Dragon (was here for Bottomless, it’s limited so less of an issue so I’ll likely have to replace it)
1x Constellar Hyades
1x Constellar Ptolemy M7
1x Gagaga Cowboy
1x Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
1x Daigusto Emeral
1x Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon
1x Ice Beast Zerofyne
1x Number 39: Utopia
1x Number 50: Blackship of Corn
1x Diamond Dire Wolf
1x Harpie’s Pet Phantasmal Dragon
Long story short, set up early, get that Pegasus and your Crystals set up with Tree/Release. Explode with Promise/Beacon/Ruins. CB’s have access to most of the best Rank 4 Xyz Monsters in the game with Chidori/Zerofyne/HPPD. And Rainbow Ruins is still arguably one of the best if not the best Field Spell in the game (either it or Grand Spellbook Tower right now). Has plenty of flaws though, especially if you don’t draw particularly well early, hence the 3 Upstart and Duality.
The potential to up Release and Tree numbers are there.
1 Book of Moon
1 Dark Hole
1 Foolish Burial
1 Infernity Launcher
2 Night Beams
2 Instant Fusions
3 Mystical Space Typhoons
1 One Day of Piece
1 Reinforcement of the Army
3 Upstart Goblins
I don’t feel like explaining how it works, I run only 12 monsters because its easy to get rid of hand full of spells and traps so I picked the most broken ones…
Its very anti-trap so no one can jack your offense up once you really get it started, upstart goblins are to get to your monsters, etc…
Play it just to find out why I say infernities are broken, anything in the extra deck in twos are the backbone of the deck…
Its my first experiment with the meta, since I usually play non-meta decks, the meta is boring as fuck… it’s a great deck though…
Really thinking about reviving one of my Black Garden variety decks. Not sure which style to run, but I’m liking the possibility of setting up without Trunade/Heavy eating my food for a change.
Besides honest, alot of things have to be changed for lightsworns to be considered a threat again. Heavy/trunade and reborn have to be back. Decks need to get neutered (kalut to 2, big dragons to 2, prophecy blue boy to 1, abyssteuss to 1, etc.)
