I thought you MidTN guys wanted to make your own team for like city v city, but definitely if we wanted to do like TN vs (insert state here) it would be 5v5 You, Pat, Me, Bishop and a 5th. I mean I went 0-2 in SF at FR but 6-2 in Marvel like that makes sense, Zero is just a scrubby character.

I’m not following along closely because I don’t play KoF. I know there’s three different 5v5s that are happening, but I can never tell which one someone is referring to.

I was watching Yoshi play ChrisG in KOF and why is it a good tactic to just spam short hop down C with kyo? Is Chris not doing something to get out of it or is it really just that dumb? Because if it’s just that dumb, sounds like my kind of character.

Short hop d+C with Kyo is very good as it does hard KD if you hit with it air to air and it can hit in front or cross up depending on the spacing. However, you can DP it or roll or guard cancel hit it if you have bar.

Sev, Squab, O, Cale and others - <3. You complete me. Yes, cats are getting very worked up needlessly over the team thing. I have said throughout that I’m down for whatever. If an RR is how peeps wanna do it, I’m all for it. Which brings me to:
I was always under the assumption that ANY KoF RRs or quals would be held in Memphis. It just makes the most sense. Part of this whole team thing is showing you are dedicated to competing and willing to travel to represent your city/state if you make the cut. I fully plan on going to MBB so this was never an issue for me so much, but I suppose we do need to clarify for people that need to make travel arrangements in advance.
For AE teams - what do you guys think about holding any quals or RRs for that game here? Seems to make the most sense given the player base.
Lee brings up a great point about TN vs. AL Marvel 3. That would be hype and I like that team. What we really need to think about is WHERE we wanna do WHICH quals, because there’s no way there will be time for everything at MBB.
My thinking is:
Kang and Tek quals/team event - Memphis at MBB
AE quals/team event - Nashville at April 28th Dolls event OR MBB
Marvel 3 quals/team event - not sure where/when. Curious to hear what you guys think.
Again, this is just what makes the most sense to ME. Always up for feedback.
