Basically it works like this -

Basic Rules
- Every player starts with zero (0) points
- Any player is allowed to join at any time
- Players have the OPTION to pay to play in the season - $5 for the whole season (per game) I suppose.
Point System
- Every player has TWO point numbers: RS (ranbat score) and OS (overall score).
Ranbat Score (RS) is points accumulated through wins in ranbats. You get ONE (1) point per win, regardless of round (1st, losers final, grand final). You do NOT lose points for losing in a ranbat. This score will be used to determine who gets paid at the end of the season. At the end of the season the players that paid to play the season, with the most RANBAT points gets the payouts 70/20/10. If you did NOT pay to play in the season - then you are not eligible for money at the end, regardless if you are in 1st place.
Overall Score (OS) is points accumulated from ranbats plus (or minus) challenge matches. These have no bearing on the payout situation.
Challenges
- Players can exchange points through challenges
- Challenges ONLY affect Overall Score
- Players are only allowed to issue challenges IF they have the points to do so
During a challenge match you are given two (2) options:

FT3 for 1 point

The winner is awarded the exchanged points and the loser is deducted the exchange points

The MAXIMUM number of points to be exchanged through a challenge is two
Players may ONLY challenge other players that are with 50% (plus and minus) their own Overall Score total
- Ex: A player with 8 points is only allowed to challenge people with points ranging from 4-12 points. This keeps higher up players from “farming” lower players
If you like math, the formulas are:
- Lowest allowed: Your Overall Score - (Your Overall Score / 2)
- Highest allowed: Your Overall Score + (Your Overall Score / 2)
Just think of Overall Score like the way points worked in the previous season - but in challenges, instead of the points exchanged being determined by rating, it’s a set amount.
If you have any questions, just ask - when we created this list of rules, it addressed every issue that was complained about last season and also allowed a way to incorporate paid ranbats.

I’ll be at t&g tomorrow but i’m not participating in the ranbats for kof. I tried getting back into that game but sadly i no longer have any interest whatsoever to play it. Idk what it is but meh oh well. I’ll run brackets if u want squabb. Also the gdbell vs doug match is going to be so painful to watch especially with dropped combos left and right even with auto gems lol
