This is where I just prefer the games that require fundamentals over big long huge combos. KOF XIII is probably the first game with long combos I’ve taken semi-seriously in a long time.
Game saturation lends to character specialization instead of game specialization. For SFxT, that would work fine for 2v2 stuff.
I’ve noticed very little overlap though in games around here. People tend to stick to two games maximum as main games here. Marvel people stick to Marvel for the most part.
Playing Guile (or the “Guile character”) in most games hasn’t phased me much since he’s always been very basic, spacing oriented. Flash kick sucks or is great. These normals are good but these suck in x vs y. For charge timing, I look at the timer in game for the first few booms, and then I’m usually on track. When I suck, it’s not due to me playing the “wrong” Guile, it’s because I suck, lol.
Also, I’m digging optical JLF for KOF right now. Only problem is the one stick I have with one installed is a HSS-0130 behemoth.
I’d play a SSF4:AE Turbo with a sped up engine.

But yea the way i mainly play is i control the map, find all the ideal spots and use my environment to the fullest. I already know about strafing,double jumping,wall jumping and all that good shit, i used to play this games back in the days a LOT! But it was always on pc tho since i’m more comfortable with the key/mouse combo. But you know how to play i give u that, i just need to practice on this ps3 pad a bit and get somewhat used to it. A lot of times i’d try to swap weapons mid fire and ended up with some other shit lol. i need to check my button config and reconfigure it to a more playable setting.

@ Jose: Man this is the most intense fun you’re gonna find on PS3/ 360 with online that’s still active. And yea it’d be too crazy if niggas had keyboard and mouse. The game allows it actually if you have a usb keyboard mouse. The dude we played last night prob had that setup, like he was point and click. I know some of the vets on console use it to compete. But it’d be too dumb if they allowed cross platform with PC and PS3. I know PS3 can download all the PC mods and hacks right from the main menu. They didn’t give 360 version this support for some reason.

Any game that gives you some movement, you gonna use it to the fullest lmao. We might up using this game to settle arguments, like men.
