It was going to be $55 for Josh for entry and venue because he was only entering AE ($35 venue fee and $20 per game) and we registered early, but he is taking a break until your tournament and decided not to go so we got a refund. Majors are expensive.

That’s… Just sad. This game better last a long time cause it’s a fun game. Yeh it takes a long time to get good at tekken and you WILL get your ass handed to you a lot. But you have to take your beating like a man and learn from it. EVERYBODY should play ttt2, cuz seeing it die quick will bring profound sadness.

Shits dead. Lol. I seriously just want any ANY game, just some game I couldn’t possibly give two shits less about like Injustice to bring back some drive. I just want to play SOMETHING. I mean, I can play AE plenty at majors and stuff, but MidTN is dead as a doornail. I’m going to like, FORCE myself to play Persona because people are playing it, for now. Don’t get me wrong, I like the game, it’s just compared to KOF and SF4, I don’t care at all. Also, a big chunk of persona people don’t come to SHIT except for milln’s tournaments which makes it hard for me to care. I wish we even just had like a big marvel scene that does its own thing like other places. It just sucks because other scenes still got strong turnouts and players still getting better and shit. People 'round hur don’t even care about just playing and having fun, coming to stuff for the community, playing games because they are good, not because they are trying to be the Daigo of the game. lol. I’m making sweeping generalizations and I’m just a tad bitter, but still. Sucks. Maybe everyone all at once found some way better MMO to play and had real life shit come up and I’m just being a douche. Dunno.
Also couldn’t make it to the tournament today because we fired someone yesterday and I ended up working like 10 hours. Weeee.
Jason just make sure to advertise in the threads for other nearby states, and try to get King of Bling up on the eventhubs weekly event posting. People see that shit, for reeeeel.

And Persona people do go to things that aren’t tournaments. They go to gatherings and meetups that one of us will host that we always put the invitation out there to SRK people and other freelancers that visit neither forum. We spend invite each other over for holidays, we do online rooms, we always go out to eat after a tournament. The only thing the MTNG people -don’t- reliably do is go to fight nights, which yeah, would be the best thing for Game Galaxy, but it’s not something my guys can do. Schedules and broke college kids not having cars are conflicts for Tuesday fight nights.
Damn, I may be bitter but that doesn’t change numbers. Sheesh.
What shits my bricks is the fact that we DO have somewhat of a Tekken scene here, shits just in the dark. I want to get better at Tekken, I really do now. I love using Bob’s fat ass and Feng with his “sup bro, I see you, hitting buttons and shit, but I got a palm and a shoulder, here we go!!!” ass. I played the fuck out of TTT1 (admittedly drunk as fuck, but fuck off) for the better part of a year back in the day, and I loved it. This shit has started the spark again, and I will be damned if I let it die out. I tried to learn Tekken before and was told to “Go watch Youtube videos”. Fuck that. I want someone to sit there, and not only beat my ass, but school me while doing so. If I have to pay you or buy your a beer, fuck it man, price of admission. Call it a tip. Dimo nigga get major props for that shit, dude will Bruce rape your face and then tell you if its low/mid/high. We can’t do it alone though. A Tekken scene isn’t going to magically flourish with 4 people farting on a snare drum. Maybe it will, idk. It just gets under my skin that this is the first fighting game I want to take seriously that nobody wants to help you learn outside of like 2 people.
I only play Marvel, VF5, and this shit now. Don’t do this to me, Middle TN. Don’t you dare.
