So - I’m playing through the Uncharted series right now (started Uncharted 1 on Tuesday) and am current running through the jungle and found my plane that crashed. So far, things I like; seamless split between scenes and gameplay, graphics are decent, story is okay so far. But, can someone please tell me why the fuck the aiming and the character controls are so out of wack in some areas. There’s some platforming areas where the character does NOT do what I think he’s going to do - which will just result in a death. Is it always like this?
I really hope the story picks up b/c I’m starting to get bored. I feel like I’m playing National Treasure on PS3; I just wish my character was Nicholas Cage.
They wanted to start KoF very late, so Marcus left. But they had asked him did him and JWong want to split it 90/10, implying that JWong would beat Marcus when Rell already beat him. Justin was asked would he beat Marcus he replied, “I’ll try. Because I already know what’s up.” It was pretty much a slap in the face. Even if it was ME instead of Marcus, I would be pissed if they asked me do I want to split 90/10. Who the fuck does that?? Goddamn the dickriding has to stop. Even if you think it, you don’t outwardly imply it. And honestly, they must not know the history between those 2, or Rell, to have even came with thar shit. Smh…
@ Squab: UC1 was a good game, great for it’s time, but does suffer from issue. Story and overall does pick up, even with the final parts taking WTF twists that you wouldn’t expect. That being said, I didn’t like UC1 much until the later half. But UC2 was a PERFECT game. The leap from UC1 to UC2 was astounding in EVERY way. Unless you’re trying to finish all the games, or know all the backstory, I reccomend that you start UC2 instead. I didn’t believe the hype until I actually put it into my system. Then I instantly realized why people get mad at you if you own a PS3 and never played that game. Never a dull moment. You are guaranteed to finish it. One of the truly amazing games of this gen, but you’ve probably already heard that a million times.
UC3 wasn’t even better than UC2 except for in terms of overall scale of MP, extra content, and co-op. UC2’s MP took more skill. But of course I’m playing UC3 because that’s where most of the players are now besides competitive vets. But yea, if you feel like you’re playing National Treasure with UC1, lol i know the feeling because I had it too. But I dare you to say that about UC2. I put money on it. Them niggas will never make another game as ambitious, action-packed, and flowing well on a theatrical scale like that again. It raised the bar too high. Now, anything they do, it’s like they’re trying too hard.
Wait wtf they asked him to just split the pot with Justin and not play. Thats fucking bullshit who gives a shit who you have to play? Thats crazy.
Also Squab dont listen to Mike about UC series. I dont know how but it somehow infected his brain that it is like the best shit ever and its mad overrated IMO.

UC2 was indeed the peak of the series, but have you seen The Last of Us? Naughty Dog is trying something serious. Can’t wait for it to come out and see what they do with this format.

Also not sure what climbed up Sev’s PS3 and died but the whole UC series is GREAT and UC2 is amazing.
I think the funniest part about this is splitting it 90/10 would LOSE money, considering if he got 2nd he would be getting 20%. How does that make sense? Whatever …
I just like trolling in it because I seriously have only the first two weeks of the game being out…so it’s funny if I win a match at all, lol…though I am sure if I lose the competitive spirit in me will want to keep playing it…
So I ordered 5 copies of TTT2 for the arcade and we are going to have a TTT2 tournament on the 15th of Sept with $100 bonus to first place…Richard is going to have to adjust the schedule yet again…

Also, how dare you?! No lie, I thought it was mad overated too, just like alot of series. UC1 was good, but it’s aged apparently. UC2, ain’t shit you or anyone can say about it without risk of looking mentally insane. I hated on entire series, that game in particular, in my typical fashion. One day I was uber bored, got tired of hearing all these praises and decided to see what all the hype was about, ready to bash the fuck out of the first little stupid bug or anything I saw. Dude…that moment never came. Next thing I know, I was playing online and planning out days when I would finish canpaign because it was so engrossing and entertaining that I didn’t want to turn it off. But that’s all I’ll say. Naughty Dog isn’t paying me squat to sell their shit so I’ll end there lol. If they send me a keychain then I’ll continue to sing praises. Too many. They can potentially flow from my mouth like watermelon seeds on a warm day.
@ Adrian: Agreed and I plan to check it out. I still need to watch more vids on it and to see what’s actually ABOUT. UC3 multiplayer lobbies endorse the FUCK out of it. So much so that I have a “The Last of Us” tshirt on one of my custom characters. I hope it turns out as epic as Uncharted series. That’d be cool and give me another game that’s a mustplay.
@ Squab: Lol. I can imagine him being told that shit like it was a settlement. Like he was getting a good deal out of it. I can slightly see if this was Marcus and Justin in grand finals of AE, but even then it’s a screwed up gesture. But in KoF? Wow. I don’t believe they meant any harm. But what do you expect when Justin gets his boxers starched and pressed by some guys? He seems cool too so no hate towards him. But I bet that it made him feel a little awkward, especially since he knows Marcus and what he’s capable of in that game.

Going through some stuff and clarifying things.
First off, I asked people to promote the Nashville tourney on stream. Not sure how much promo it got though. I didn’t have a lot of details on it off the top of my head, but I gave it a shoutout when I was doing commentary.
System was fully patched, but required an internet connection because of shitty DRM issues (which only happens sometimes under specific conditions)
The hype people weren’t there. I asked MS to bring the hype; they didn’t come. I asked you guys to bring they hype too. What happened? Arkansas naturally isn’t hype- we’re too nice to each other. Dallas is the same way. Plus most of the tournies were pretty free so it was hard to get hype.
Sorry bro. Next time let me know and I’ll take care of you. The guy running the P4A brackets was fairly new to larger tournies (he runs brackets at our monthlies) and I guess he didn’t know how to troubleshoot the issue.
I wanted to clarify some things. C’mon Mike, you know me better than that. We don’t dickride anybody and I was hoping that all the players who came in would get their asses beat by the South. Here is what happened-
We started KoF according to the schedule. Marcus wanted it to be streamed so I told him if we were going to do that, it would have to be AFTER everything else was schedule to be streamed because it made no sense to stop Marvel pools halfway in, stream KoF grand finals, and then resume Marvel pools. After Marvel pools ended at 11PM, Justin hadn’t eaten all day so he really wanted to get some food. I asked Marcus if it was okay to do it tomorrow at 1PM (because of their desire to get it streamed) and he agreed. Then I find out the next day that none of them showed up on Sunday and they gave first to Jwong.
As for the 90/10 thing, here’s what happened. I believed Marcus was a better player so I JOKED that winner should take all (90% = 70+20) in the match between them to make it interesting. I was laughing when I said it and nudging people so I figured it was pretty obvious that it was a joke. I’m pretty sure I also said “nah I’m just playin’” I talked earlier with Justin and he said Marcus was probably going to body him; he also said he wasn’t that good in KoF. If JWong would’ve agreed to it, I would’ve been helping Marcus out. Marcus got top whatever at Final Round, Jwong didn’t. I didn’t even realize it was possible to dickride someone who claims they suck at a certain game. Give me some credit guys, c’mon.
EDIT: If you look at the bonus pot splits for AE/Marvel/P4A, they’re split 33/33/33 SPECIFICALLY so that any top player who flew in wouldn’t get as much money as the South did for supporting this event. We are not trying to pad top players’ pockets.

As I said above, I didn’t believe it was intentional, I just know that stuff like that DOES tend to happen without an afterthought. I’m always messing around, but I was also interested to see if JWong would’ve accepted because that would’ve given Marcus more money.

Oh I know, it’s stupid. I just thought it was hilarious that no one caught it until halfway through the pool. Kind of sucks for that entire pool, because some of them were playing with nerfed characters.

How the hell could you NOT see it, it shows up before VS. matches on the bottom, says 2012. Did nobody see it? seriously?
Yup. What shocked me was the people watching the stream are who caught it. And for MOST of the matches, the ARK5 logo was covering up that area (ver. 2012 text) on the screen. I surprised the people playing didn’t recognize it; especially if you knew the buffs/nerfs of your specific character.
