Wow. It’s not difficult to not say anything about something in a group of people where you know others aren’t in the know about it and don’t want it ruined.
Dude you don’t have to spoil the plot for it to be a spoiler. What you spilled was the “oh shit” factor for anybody who hadn’t seen it. Sure we don’t know what context it will be in but now we’ll be looking for it or anticipating it which will dampen the impact. It hadn’t been expressly shown in anything leading up to this, so yes, it is indeed a spoiler.
Interesting thing about that scene was, Nolan stated that it was an edit. Original speech called for Bane to say, “Nigga I was born in so much darkness that I thought I was black.” Then he was to remove mask and take a sip of kool-aid. But Tom Hardy reportedly hates kool-aid and refused to drink it for role so they had to revise script.
Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, both avid white drinkers of kool-aid, reported that Tom Hardy was hard to work with. Large pitchers of kool-aid were often made on the set. When it was time for Hardy to make the kool-aid, he brought Big K soft drinks. Making his commitment to the cast and fellow movie project questionable to some.
Since Batman’s the hot topic, shout outs to this joint right here since it was the first series to make me slightly care about him. Fuckin loved this show.
I love both DC and Marvel and I read both avidly. My problem with Marvel movies are the tend to do what they did to the X-Men movie that they did to all there movies. Iron Man,Avengers, Hulk with Norton, and Capt. were good but the rest kinda were meh. DC on the other hand really only has the Batman movies that I actually enjoyed because I have come to terms that I will never enjoy Superman, he is just lame. I love reading Green Lantern but the movie was kinda not the best. I feel that both companies need to get a handle on the directors and give them more direction to the movies and help them not all become what they are today.
