I thought I was ass too, and then went to that one tournament and did okay, and was getting props and doing well at FR, I just didn’t know any match ups. That game is literally the most frustrating thing on Earth. You just gotta give it a few weeks and you’re gonna be in FG nirvana, son. Shit is too good.
Definitely not saying you should change whoever you are playing, it is almost definitely just new to KOF frustrations that most of us went through and are still going through… But for me personally, my original team was all sorts of fuckin’ wrong for me. If you’re playing Andy and please-don’t-break-a-nail Iori, just toss anyone half way decent on that bitch and you’re good. It is really hard to play a team that isn’t really good, even if you just pick three characters at random.

Its done. This guy will get no wins. Johnny winning was a fluke. I perfect him all the time in SF4 and this guy will suffer the same fate. Characters should be handled tourney style like Josh said and I honestly don’t care about gems. It won’t matter as far as my win count goes.
We can set a date once I find out m exact work schedule. It won’t be too hectic though so we should be able to do it soon.
@ Chris B: The “Thin Air” DD on Everest? Haha nope. And actually, I’m about to do it with her right now. I have no idea what’s up with the oxygen tank. Even in the other run that required it, I totally forgot I had another gauge or that I was supposed to be using oxygen. I see what you mean about how they implemented the DDs. One that gave me most trouble was “Gravity” with Elise. And only because I was trying to trick over pit drops. The “Cold” DD with Moby was almost nonexistent. Avoid caves, stay in the sun so you won’t freeze. Well fuck…I was above ground 96% of the time anyway just to hit ramps. Then before I knew it I was done. This one could’ve been better if they threw more underground passageways at you so then you’d need to build boost and shoot through, then trick for more boost before another cave.
I haven’t done ANY Global Events yet either. Just slowly making my way through World Tour first. I always been one to stay away form Kaori just because so many niggas love asian women, but she really has some of the best tricking like in OG/Tricky. And I can see why people say “Serenity” was best run in the game. Jesus Christ…that was pure nostalgia trip. Now all we need is a random superpipe DLC lol.
EDIT: Nevermind, I’m on the race before Everest and I’m blacking out way too fast. I guess I just randomly use oxygen throughout the whole race frequently but stay away from catching air?
@ Gabe: You know I don’t fuck off with you at all so long as it’s about that p.o.s. game right? But that being said, get your money homie. Plus I’ve heard the shit is way easy-mode. Like, out of the gate putting in work and way more than Marvel 3. All you gotta do is knock them on their ass first.
Exactly. That shit was fucked up. I couldn’t see the course half the time because the fucking blackout effect was obscuring the HUD. Thank God you don’t have to worry about any of that shit in explore mode. Just shred.

I enjoyed the gravity DD once I got a hang of the wingsuits. You gotta pull up WAAYYYY earlier than it feels like, at least in my experience. Tho, unless it’s a huge gap, you can hit most of them provided you get enough air off of your jump. So far DDs I fuck with are that one, the Rocks one with Psymon is actually a ton of fun, cold was straight, Avalanche was fun as shit tho I wish you could use standard camera angle and just have like a rear view to keep eye on the Avalanche. It was hard to get a handle on where you were in relation to the ground when you went off jumps. Ice was ASSSSSSSSS. Trees I am indifferent, lol.
And I feel you on Kaori. I mean I messes with Asian chicks but they ain’t top of the priority list. But she’s a DJ on the side and she’s got PURPLE Mike…PURPLE. What am I supposed to do? But I got my man Eddie and the baddest b***h Elise on the slopes so all is good.
So far my only issues with the games are some of the DDs, and the courses with random ramps into bottomless pits. Why haven’t devs figured out that shit isn’t cool yet is beyond me. Other than that you put it perfectly - the game is pure nostalgia trip and refreshing.
